World Cup Predictions – Ospina’s Colombia to top Group H?

World Cup Finals Group H Predictions by Dan Smith

Arsenal only have David Ospina in this group…

Colombia 1st
Won many over with their brand of football four years ago. In my opinion James Rodriguez deserved to be player of the tournament in Brazil. He, along with Falcao and Cuadrado, have rediscovered their old form. No coincidence that they shined at a competition hosted in South America. Can they reproduce in a different climate. The Group could have been a lot harder.

Poland
Group H is fascinating as all 4 teams will feel like they can take points off each other.
What gives the Poles the edge is Lewanowski, one of the proven word’s best poachers, something the other 3 don’t have. In all 3 games he will feel he can get the better of the defence. His reputation mentally seems to improve his teammate. With such a match winner can beat ordinary opposition but not enough to go deeper.

Senegal
In Sadio Mane, Kalidou Koulibaly, Sakho and Gueye Senegal have key players playing for some of Europe’s main clubs. That already raised hopes they could fly the flag for Africa even before this draw was very kind to them. They will feel all 3 games are winnable and have a chance if they can come together as a team. It wouldn’t be a shock if they finished top or bottom of the group.

Japan
Apart from the World Cup they co hosted Japan have struggled to meet their governments exspectetions to put football on the map. The draw though couldn’t of been kinder. They are in a group where anyone can beat anyone which is all they could have wished.

    1. Torreira, Lichtensteiner and Sokratis (July announcement due to BVB financial year) are done deals. We are still looking for a GK and maybe another defender. There is also a possibility that we get Gelson Martins for free as he is one of the Sporting players who exited his contract due to “untenable work conditions”
This might turn out to be a pretty good window after all.

  1. Now being reported everywhere Torreira is done.People can now calm down.
He will wear the #19 shirt.

    1. shut up .

you said Adli was done too and he would sign after his 18 years birthday

    3. That’s cool bro.I’ve also seen that we have agreed fee for Leno which seems quite good

  2. just saw the match between France ’98 ( managed by Aime Jacquet ) Vs FIFA ’98 team managed by Arsene Wenger..

and as expected , Wenger lost 3-2

    1. Bergkamp rolled back the years with deceiving turn and perfectly placed shot from outside area, he’s still got it. But that game you’re talking about there, sure the ref made bad calls and the linesman must be near sighted, Wenger deserved better.
