Arsenal have reportedly tracked Rodrygo throughout this season, and the Gunners may still have the opportunity to sign the Brazilian forward. Mikel Arteta’s squad has been significantly strengthened over the past few weeks, with several high-quality additions, and the club are keen to ensure that every area of the team is fully covered before the transfer window closes.
Arsenal’s transfer strategy and Rodrygo’s situation
Following recent activity in the market, it initially appeared that Arsenal would not pursue further signings. However, the opportunity to acquire Rodrygo has emerged due to uncertainty surrounding his future at Real Madrid. The Brazilian has struggled for regular game time at the Spanish club, which has created the possibility of a move to the Premier League.
According to Give Me Sport, Rodrygo’s agent, Pini Zahavi, is reportedly travelling to London to hold discussions with clubs interested in his client. Liverpool is also understood to be pursuing the forward, and Zahavi is expected to meet with both sides to assess which club presents the most convincing plan for Rodrygo’s career progression.

Financial considerations and squad planning
While Rodrygo would represent a significant boost to Arsenal’s attacking options, there are concerns over the financial implications of such a move. The player’s valuation and potential wages are reportedly substantial, and it remains unclear whether the club are willing or able to allocate the necessary resources at this stage of the window. The decision will depend on balancing the potential impact of Rodrygo on the squad against the practicalities of budget management and wage structure.
Arsenal’s recent signings have already added considerable depth and quality to the squad, and the possible acquisition of Rodrygo would further reinforce their options. The coming days are expected to be critical in determining whether the Gunners can complete a deal, particularly as competition from other clubs could influence negotiations.

Unlikely. If it happens it’ll be as a loan with option/obligation. Now that Trossard has signed new terms, I can only see it if Martinelli interest appears out of nowhere.
Saudi clubs were reported as interested in Martinelli, but I don’t see him going there at only 24 years old.
I would love Rodrygo at arsenal but with eze arrival would it happen?it remains to be seen.fingers👌 crossed

Truth be told we haven’t sorted the right wing issue. Maybe, just maybe, Eze can step in when needed, if we can’t get Rodrygo or any other specialist LW forward.
The necessity of his addition has plummeted with the arrival of Eze
Is this story still running. 🤦♂️🥱
Well, on this I’m ready to be called a glutton, I can’t say no to just one more good player, can I, hehehehe🥲
