Alexis Sanchez injury boost caps great Arsenal night

Even though the Arsenal and Chile international forward was nowhere near the Karaiskakis Stadium, I reckon that Alexis Sanchez would have been keeping a close eye on what his Arsenal team mates were up to and I bet that no one was more pleased that him at the performance and the 3-0 result that puts our name into the draw for the knockout phase of the Champions League.

And it might be sooner than you think when we get to see Alexis back on the pitch for the Gunners. Before the kick off they were talking about Arsenal on BT sport and one of the presenters let us know that they had been given a positive injury update on the Chilean, saying that he could be back in action withing two weeks.

If this proves to be the case then Arsene Wenger could have his star striker back in time for the big Premier League clash with Man City on the 21st. Maybe this good news was part of the reason for Arsenal pulling off such a great game in Greece.

Although the team has so far managed to get by without Alexis, how much better will we feel when he is back and making Premier League defenders’ lives a misery again?

  2. Great news for sure, but I think the greatest thing to take away from this game is that we no don’t need to rush Alexis back, as Campbell has been playing excellent in the meantime.

  4. we were outplayed the opening 20 min, especially Bellerin who struggled. Wenger switched Walcott and Campbell and that little tweak changed the outcome of the match.

Campbell is gaining confidence, matter of time before he is scoring goals for us. I hope he carry that form in the premier league
