So here is the first Just Arsenal podcast of the new season from Alfie, where he assesses the chances of every Premier League team in this campaign and predicts their finishing positions come next May.

But where will he predict our beloved Arsenal will finish?

Around the same place as last year 6th or 7th added numbers to squad but not top quality that’s badly needed know I will get a lot of stick for saying this but I don’t really care I am being realistic and not delusional!!

I think I am going to say 4th – but only because Chelsea and Spurs look in a much worse condition than we are.

Our best chance to come back to Champions League is the Europa League!

    5th Or 6th this season!

If both CSKA London and spuds have a horrible season, 4th, if not 5th or 6th.
I’d be happy if we manage the st. Totteringham’s day this season.

Chelsea may look worse but I wouldn’t under rate them.

Spurs didn’t get any one but they are still a strong unit that play together.

We can finish in the top four. My guess is 3rd or 4th.

4th – although I fully realize this would be a very impressive result by the new manager and 5th or 6th would be more realistic.

I guess an important measure would be to see if we get more points out of the second half of the season than the first. This would evidence improvement and proof the manager is getting to grips with the PL and that his methods work.

There is a chance that Mourinho may cause a third season implosion at Man U, Sarri will find it difficult to change the tactical approach from counter attacking at Chelsea, plus Hazard may be unsettled and Spurs have to face the new stadium syndrome. Therefore, hopefully 3rd or 4th if Arsenal’s away form improves to match the home form.
