Alfie’s World Cup podcast 2 – Spain v Portugal and the Ronaldo show

Here is Alfie’s Second Day World Cup podcast for Just Arsenal, and surely we must all agree that the Spain v Portugal match was absolutely awesome, and although Spain were by far the better team, you can never stop Cristiano Ronaldo when he is in top form, and what a free kick at the end!

Anyway, over to Alfie…

Peru are really giving me joy
they are a team that plays with confidence regardless of the penalty miss.
we should look to sign their winger CORELLO, i hope i get the spelling correctly though.
he has electric pace and he would fit the EPL perfectly

Urgentina1:1 Iceland big teams struggling so far in the world cup.The tournament is very open. Argentina defense is very weak

    1. ACE

Iceland honestly should be leading even though
Argentina are doninating the possession stats.

Reminds me of Wenger ball. 😂

Two referees were deported from Russia for receiving bribes or gifts without disclosing as per the FIFA rules.Today’s game between France vs Australia shows there are corrupt individuals manipulating results seating with computers in the name VAR

that was a penalty though. Just cause he got slight, slight contact doesn’t negate the fact Grizemann still had a chance to get that ball and he tripped him up. If it was the other way around nobody would be complaining. People just like to see big countries lose.

Crap article about a corrupt tournament (hello Jon Fox you’r seeing that we can agree)

    1. Counsel

@ pires once said you’re Indian and India has never qualified for word cup with a population of millions and millions,, why would you care about a corrupt tournament anyway!

  4. Break-on-through

Report in Star saying Soyuncu has agreed to Arsenal, I thought this one was agent BS but credit where it’s due ..Kev called this one early before any imminent looking reports, if Mislintat wants him then hopefully we get it done.

    1. Counsel

Kev is a spy ,he works with the Scotland yards,he gets intelligence information some related to football ,yes kev is reliable he is our David ornstein

  5. Nayr

Mirror also says wilshere is set to leave arsenal after talks with unai emery.
Credit where it’s due to Nayr.
he called that one before anyone else.

    1. RSH

nobody gets credit for crap. Wilshere leaving was always a high possibility. It’s not hard to simply guess it correctly.

  6. Counsel

Messi misses a penalty, it was unfairly awarded in the first place he fell before the contact and the VAR guys when consulted the were ready steal for urgentina

  7. Nayr

c.ronaldo delivers when you need him to.
    for madrid and POR.

    messi however……

    ronaldo G.O.A.T

    1. INTERNATIONALARSENAL

Even giroud scores all his penalties. Messi is the best player in the world and is not even close.

    2. RSH

Argentina are no good. Poor game for Messi. All Argentina does is wait for him to do something, as if they aren’t full of talent around them. Messi just runs to edge of box, passes to a teammate, doesn’t get it back. Easy stuff for Iceland.

can we sign the goalkeeper, we are in the market for one aren’t we? Iceland Iceland . Ronaldo vs Messi 😁

  9. Alldwayfromafika

Arguably more impressive than their win against England…wish we could play with the will Iceland plays with…highly impressive

  10. ruelando

Iceland plays with all players committed to one task, magnificent result, two questionable VAR decisions today (so far), really enjoyable match, give me more.

  11. Unai Emery

Who in their right mind wouldn’t let Dybala play…. All the “style not suitable” crap… They needed a goal , and he is one of the best in Europe
