Arsenal boss keeping focus as PSG decider looms

Arsene Wenger did not want to talk about the chances of Arsenal winning our Champions League group being likely to hinge on the fifth match, which will be when PSG come to London, even though he must be thinking the same thing as the rest of us.

I think the Frenchman is right, to be fair, as we have seen the Gunners hit an unexpected banana skin or two down the years. Instead, when interviewed and asked about the likely future of group A after the thumping win over Ludogorets, the boss was quick to insist that we need to focus fully on beating the Bulgarians on their own turf in the next European tie. We can think and talk about it though.

There is always a chance that the French champions will drop points in their next game away to the Swiss club Basel, especially as their 3-0 win at home over them was a flattering scoreline, but I would assume that their trip to London at the end of November will be the key match.

Our goal difference is currently better and we should increase that in the next round, so that would mean that a draw with PSG not scoring more than once would be enough to see us top the group. We would certainly be in the driving seat with just the final game away to Basel to get through.

Do you think Arsenal v PSG will decide the group? And who do you really think will win it?
