Arsenal CAN’T have another nightmare against Norwich – Or can we?

Us poor old Arsenal fans are quite used to seeing the Gunners having a bit of bad luck a few times a season, but last week’s game against West Brom really took the biscuit! Arsene Wenger described it perfectly: “It was a bad result – but on the day everything went against us,” Le Prof said. “They had one shot on target and scored two goals – that will not always happen.

“On top of that we missed a penalty and scored an own goal, so we had a nightmare. It was an unlucky day, that can happen in a season but after it is how you respond to that and we did that well on Tuesday.”

All I can say is that hopefully we have used up all our bad luck for a while, ad now we are due for a little bit of the opposite! I’m not asking for a lot really, all I want is for us to win our next five games by at least two goals, then I’ll be confident of going into the New Year full of confidence and with a nice lead at the top of the League.

Oh and of course that will also we will qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League for good measure, which will definitely cheer us all up. Is that too much to ask Father Christmas for?

  1. last game wasnt bad luck, we should more prepared then to flake out cos one player gets injured during the match.

i expect us to beat norwich, if we maintain our concentration levels we can go into decent lead then sit back, go into second gear .
we have that ability with most teams…just the execution thats an issue

for all yous out tonight…remember a girl is for life…not just for Christmas…wait isnt that a dog?
ah whatever …go get some flesh my fellow gooners!

I think Norwich are a bit pizzz’d off by now after watching that Jack goal back to back. They’re gonna try and come with something for us…IJS

      1. West Brom game was a one off I’m pretty sure. The Paris bombings would have had an effect on our guys, some were playing in the Stade de France at the time that must have had an effect on them and even Wenger. . Alexis played in South America on Tuesday night GMT earliest back in UK Thursday. Joel Cambpell played in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday very early morning GMT. Not back into UK until Friday morning earliest. That was tough ask, and they nearly did it. They certainly pulled it together for the Dynamo game a few days later. So I have hope that if they are fit and able we will see a good game v Norwich.

  2. It’s going to be a win or a draw game for Man City and a draw game between Leicester City vs Man Utd by my own forecasts. If my predictions come to pass, and Arsenal beat Norwich. Arsenal will return to the top of the table as joint leaders again with Man City or Leicester. Arsenal have suddenly dropped from joint leaders in the table to 4th position. This is unacceptable. The earlier they go back to where they came down from, the better it will be for all of us. This is the outcome I am targeting in this upcoming week 14 of the top four clubs game results. And should the opportunity present itself to Arsenal to return to the top of the table. 3. We are more than capable of……..having another nightmare against Norwich City.
Hopefully, we will not but we’ll see I guess.

  4. Admini, could you possibly please adjust your comments receiving settings for a G2 Phone which I sometimes use to type to show my comments in paragraphy typing which I now do. Instead of to type my comment in one block like I used to type it. My last comment is mix-up and truncate as you can see as it has appeared above. Thanks.

  5. Man City in for Messi, Chelsea in for Vardy Man Utd in for Ronaldo, Liverpool in for Muller, ARSENAL IN FOR ANYONE ONCE THEY ARE CHEAP.
WENGER knows what Arsenal need but once again he won’t spend his precious money.

    1. Could you imagine Messi lining up on a freezing sleety/rainey Boxing Day in England next year. Someone scraping there studs down his shins, having “mistimed”his tackle for the umpteenth time. I have a feeling he CR7 and Muller may stay where they are.

      1. Hahaha You will be amazed what some people will do for a far less offer than £600,000 aweek! ??

I heard that City will offer Messi nearly a million aweek,
And also offer Barcelona 125 million for him.

        Whats that Mr Tax Man?
Messi is not happy in Spain anymore, I wonder why?
