Arsenal confirmed team for crunch Spurs tie

The confirmed teams are out for today’s North London Derby, without any surprises.

Laurent Koscielny has been given the go-ahead to start the crunch tie, giving us a huge boost as we look to build on our recent upturn in form.

Theo Walcott and Hector Bellerin have been overlooked as they have been since the recent switch to the newly-favoured 3-4-2-1 formation, and they have nothing to complain about considering we have 100% win rate in the new system.

Is this the right team to take on Spurs? Can our 100% record under the new system continue it’s run?

  1. Well we have lost with Ramsey starting.

    Move ox central and play Bellerin on right.

    More pace and ox can at least hold a ball better than Wengers Son.

    1. Ox should be on Right or left… He can more productive there only… I think Bellerin Should have started on Left instead of Gibbs…. And Welbeck should have been in starting line up instead of Giroud…

    The favours are in Arsenals favour lol, whilst the spuds will be feeling a little deflated with their chances of catching Chelsea.

    Psychologically, its in Arsenals favour but we never seem to take advantage of the favours that have been favoured to us.

This guys love affair with Ramsey need serious psychological attention … It will be all about whether ozil and ox show up today … If not it’s difficult to see where enough goals will come from ..as don’t think Sanchez can do this one alone ..optimistically 2 – 2 but more likely 3 -1 … Either way should not be enough to save wenger

  7. Wonder why he dropped Holding, I thought he might have rested him last time out. We had a problem with set pieces I thought the reason for the change was to help deal with that too. We are back two basically having two CB’s and Giroud maybe Xhaka to deal with tall players and aerial threat. Unless he’s thinking Monreal would get skinned out on the wing.

  31. Hate to admit but imo ramsey has been our best player ! As for ozil….take him off, bring on bellerin and move ox up…they are playing on arsenals right side weakness as ozil too lazy to defend…strolling about again as if hes on daddys yacht.

    Spurs showing the weakness of the formation by getting down the wings with ease slight tweaks and maybe we will get a win which after todays results i cant help feel it might be our day.

  38. And this is with no dumbell,(beast), Danny rose and kyle walker. Our squad just looks so mid table at least the back 3 looks slightly less leaky.
    Subs for spurs 2nd half may win this one.
    Personally giroud must come off and with sanchez and ozil up there we need either walcott or welbeck running off the spurs back line. I think pace is needed to get away from vertonghen and Alderwereild.

  41. Yep I can’t really remeber us being able to play keep ball well…….forever. cazorla gave us that.
    He along with ozil and sanchez could unlock teams.
    Oh for busquets, modric, vidal, we need to drop off Ramsey at the local charity shop and buy a mid 20’s midfield maestro. Pains me to say it but cesc would of done it.

  65. It’s disgusting to watch, especially when you take into account what we paid for ozil and xhaka.

    1. Ozil is a lost cause, another game he has done absolutely nothing. Xhaka would be better under a better manager. Most of our squad is hopeless under current manager.

Embarrassing … you are right, they should’ve … we seemed to have no pride at all, Walcott was the worst continually losing the ball .. don’t know what was up with Ramsey one moment he was reasonable the next atrocious. AS seemed to give up after one of Ramsey’s passes to him was completely off target, yet he himself was culpable of losing the ball. Their best opportunities they seemed to miss, and their goals was a mixture of keystone cop defending by us, and Kane hanging out a leg. If we had a bit more pride and belief, we could’ve easily won that … it’s up to the manage to instill that in the players.
