Still.not convinced by Eze at £68 mn !
For me Zubamendi is the missing piece. Gyokeres the guy to finish off our moves and I think Martinelli the biggest beneficiary as Arsenal won’t be so focused on Saka all the time
We have one or maybe 2 more transfers but I just don’t think Eze is the be all or end all. neither is Rodrygo
Will be someone we have not yet thought of who will become available towards the end of the window
My only question is: why did we pay such an over-inflated price for a squad player from Chelsea and now complain over the fair market value for a difference maker from Palace?
Which player adds more value to the squad – Madueke for 52M or Exe for 65M?

I absolutely agree with you.Eze is PL proven and would be the ideal solution to the “Double Block” that so many sides set up to great effect against us last Season.
Having a speedy winger on the left side running into alleys is what Arteta had Martinelli (and occasionally Sterling) doing with little effect time and time again.We had greater success when Trossard was called upon down the left side.Eze has a similar skill-set but with far greater “bang” and would certainly be more effective.He also could replace Odergaard if his form dips …like last Season and also offers additional versatility as a left 8.
Madueke should have been seen as an additional “luxury purchase” once Eze was purchased and would have also persuaded Trossard to push harder for a transfer away.
If Spurs buy him instead of us ot will be a complete and utterly disgrace and could lay the foundations for another Season when Arsenal dont quite succeed.
