Arsenal remains active in the transfer market and could explore late moves before the window closes, with several players potentially available to them.
In the final days of the window, the Gunners hope to sell some unwanted players in their squad, including Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli, two players who have not been involved in their season so far.
Martinelli is closing in on a move to Al Hilal as one of Arsenal’s late departures, and the Gunners need another left winger, even though Christos Tzolis appears to have made a very good start to the season for them.
With that in mind, Arsenal has now been linked with a move for Marcus Rashford, who can still leave Manchester United during this transfer window.
Arsenal considers Rashford move
The Englishman has long been linked with a move to Arsenal, and he performed well on loan at Barcelona last season before the Spanish side opted not to make the move permanent.
Rashford is back in the United team, but the club is open to selling him, and according to the Manchester Evening News, Arsenal is considering making a late swoop for the forward.
The Gunners have always liked the attacker, and his availability could provide them with an opportunity to strengthen their options on the left side of the attack.
Rashford could replace Martinelli
Arsenal’s interest in Rashford comes as Martinelli appears to be nearing the exit door. With the Brazilian expected to leave in the coming days, the Gunners could look to bring in a replacement before the transfer window closes.
Rashford could therefore become an attractive option for Arsenal, particularly given his previous links with the club and his experience at the highest level.
The forward’s situation at Manchester United leaves the door open for a late move, while Arsenal’s need for another left winger could make the timing particularly significant.
If Martinelli completes his move to Al Hilal, Arsenal will need to assess whether their current options are sufficient for the rest of the season. Tzolis has made a positive start, but the potential availability of Rashford could tempt the Gunners to make a late move for a player they have admired for some time.

I don’t mind Rashford on loan though he is on big wages !
If we got Alvarez abd a clause he could leave for Barca after 2 years if they pay more than we paid for him I don’t see that as a bad deal at all… I don’t care that he wants to play for Barca as he would play well for us for 2 years as he did for City and Atleti

We all have our rants along the way. But can I just say that you’re the most angry poster I’ve seen on JA.
I fear for you’re blood pressure, take it easy. It’s not worth getting so worked up about. I get you’re frustration, a lot of us feel it to. But not to you’re levels it would seem.

IF we don’t bring in a LW questions should be raised imo. Saying we’re ok, as if Jesus or Eze, or Madueke on LW can do a job, spare me.
Eze looks lost and blunt on LW, virtually no defense or help for LB. Jesus and Madueke both dribble but zero end product.
Selling Martinelli and no additions leave us weaker for sure. So we sell a player who loves Arsenal to stalk and beg someone who could care less about arsenal, makes no sense.
Alvarez is the center or turmoil at Ath. Madrid, and we’ll play chump and buy their headache for 128 million to become our headache. Makes perfect sense.
Hoping for a new LW and a more open and direct attack this year, let’s wait and see. Good news is, defense is stocked and upgraded, but virtually no resell value.
