Arsenal fans must have faith in Freddie and believe we will destroy Brighton

Every football game is a new beginning for Arsenal by Lagos Gooner

Happy new day Arsenal fellas around the world; what a wonderful day it is. As beautiful and bright as the day looks, so is how bright my belief in Arsenal gets renewed, every new day.

Our next game against Brighton comes up on Thursday and my instinct tells me to bet on Arsenal winning that game with a large goal margin. I seriously feel we get our groove back against Brighton and we will be doing so in a grand style.

I seriously feel Ljungberg will do well as coach of Arsenal; he has played and coached at Arsenal, at various times in the past and he should feel well at home with his ex-team mate, being the director of football at Arsenal. Edu and Ljungberg played together at one stage of their careers.

Arsenal did well in my opinion, for allowing two former Arsenal players to coach the team for while; this will give us an idea of how it will be if ex players are given the job on a permanent basis. With what Zidane did at Madrid, and with what Lampard is doing at Chelsea, Arsenal fans should look into the future with so much optimism, with big Freddie as the coach.

On Thursday, let every Arsenal player and coach approach the game against Brighton with all the zeal and motivation they can get. Let every Arsenal player do everything to show the fans that they are proud of the jersey they put on, every match day. The coaches should come out blazing and hot with their tactics and team formation. Arsenal is our club and as fans, we must all come out on Thursday to support the team to victory. The team needs us more than ever at this critical point of our season and we should not turn them down.

Come Thursday, I see Arsenal rolling all over Brighton from start to finish and before Brighton recovers from the shock, Arsenal would have been leading with a three goal margin. Will my prediction come to pass? Only 90mins will tell.

  2. Play a narrow formation and my money’s on draw or Brighton double chance. Freddie needs to man up and drop one of the two strikers as it’s clearly not working. If it was me I would play a front three of Matinelli Pepe and Abameyang.

  8. Freddie needs to given a 3 yr contract fact !! The guy has the faith of the players and their respect. He was part of the invincible 04 and has experienced the premier league and know what the fans and what the demands are of the league and the fans !! He has already on my eyes changed a few things around and they have worked !! The team moves the ball faster now then when Emery was at the helm !! The Keeper kicks more now than when Emery was in charge, The first half of the Norwich game was good and we had control of the game and should have scored twice but didnt take our chances !! We have made more chances in one game under Freddie than 7 under Emery !! I expect Brighton to be well beaten tomorrow.. and things to only get better !! Sanellhi wants a spanish coach every time and he doesnt want anything to remind the club of Wenger and the DNA he installed the beautiful way we played !! and is why he wouldnt give Freddie the reigns… persnally its sanellhi holding the club back not the team he has to either go or listen to others on the board !! O’leary and Keown have to be brought on to the baord and sanellhi has to be degrade to only looking after signing and contracts !! He guy is killing the club from within and the owners have to keep the arsenal DNA going !! That’s only because we don’t really know what Freddie is all about (managerial style) but we’ll find out fast enough as we have a lot of games coming every 3 days I think 😮 West ham on Monday and Leige Thursday.   13. We have got to win on Thursday at any cost. We have got to support Freddie and give him time to improve the team formation and tactics. Hope he plays Martinelli and Pepe alongside Auba and Laca can come on later as a substitute and start the matches when Auba needs rest.

  14. Agreed mate, Freddie Ljungberg is a good coach and hes Arsenal through and through.

    I dont like the sound of Allegri, Ancelotti and Marcelino. They seem too Emery like to me, one has been sacked by his club who are doing better now hes gone. One hasn’t managed in the premiership before and been out of work for a while plus would be expensive. The other is a journey man who is going to be sacked for the same reasons we sacked Emery, in a far weaker league.

    The only managers out there I’d want us to go for is Nieglesman or Rose. Otherwise give the job to Freddie and allow him time to develop in the role. Or give it to Arteta and have Freddie as his assistant. I think it will take 2-3 weeks for us to start to see new ideas translate on to the pitch, so he needs patience and support from us all. Let’s face it things cant get any worse than they were under Emery.

    I just hope Freddie’s brave with his team selections, reverting to a more youthful look. He needs to trust players like Holding and Chambers at CB and dump Mustafi, Luiz an Sokratis to the waste paper bin.

    Start playing the likes of Nelson, Saka, Martinelli and Willock more often. The play Torriera where he is best, holding the midfield.

    There will be a win tonight and hopefully signs of incoming change.

    I assume the one about to be sacked is Ancelloti… but I’ll tell ya, Ancelloti to Arsenal is a blessing. that man is a serial achiever.
