Arsenal forward line to face Crystal Palace – Will Lacazette start?

Arsenal is expected to field their strongest possible forward line against Crystal Palace today.

There will be a lot of debate over what defence and midfield Unai Emery will select today but not the forward line.

It is very probable that the Spaniard will go with a frontline of Nicolas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. That is exactly what the fans want to see.

Bukayo Saka has done very well in Lacazette’s absence but the Frenchman is back now and after a run-out against Vitoria on Thursday night, should be back in the starting line up today.

There is a chance that Emery will start Lacazette on the bench but that would be a bit of a surprise.

Aubameyang has been on fire since the season started and Pepe has now found his scoring boots. Today could be the day that we see the formidable front three at their very best as a unit.

A lot will depend on the service provided by the midfield and which wing-backs are selected. If Emery gets that part right then today could be a huge moment for Arsenal this season.

The fans have been waiting eagerly to have all three forwards on form and fit. Their patience could easily be rewarded later this afternoon.

Hopefully, it will not be an anti-climax and I am confident it will not be. The stars have aligned today and all Emery needs to do is select all three in-form forwards.

But knowing Emery as we all do, he may yet surprise/disappoint us with his team line up.

  1. Emery lineup leaked
    Leno
    Chambers, Luiz, Papastathopoulos, Kolasnic
    Guedozzi, Xhaka, Ceballos
    Pepe, Aubamayang, saka

      1. It’s as if you don’t know Every by now. This is for sure the lineup you will probably see . The only change that may be seen is Lucazette starting instead of Saka

  2. Saka is still not ready to be starting week in weak out. I would even prefer Martinelli as he has shown that he is got that end product. However, with Laca back, we should unleash PAL officially

      1. Someone who saw what I saw😂😂 I only watched the highlights, but he looked terrible even in those.
Hopefully he’s not rushed back in EPL action
