Arsenal got the best possible draw in the FA Cup again

Man City is probably the best draw for the FA cup Arsenal could’ve got. by Konstantin Mitov

Well, it’s time to leave Arsene aside for a moment and take a look at the FA cup. Not the trophy that would get me really excited, but it’s the only one we have a theoretical chance to win. So what did the draw give us? Manchester City.

With our current form there was no good draw for us really. United were dumped out with a soft red, and with a choice of City, Chelsea and Spurs we got the best possible for me and here’s why. They are still playing in Europe and Guardiola will be looking at the big prize.

Arsene is looking for consolation and excuse as always. He was handed another good draw, because City has a leaky defence which we could exploit. Chelsea and Spurs are very solid at the back and with the constant rotation and uncertainty over our best players up front I really don’t see how we’ll get past them. Against the Citizens we might get a chance to sneak in some goals.

Still lot of fans wanted Chelsea or Spurs because of local rivalry, but we don’t really turn up in big games. Arsene needs a miracle to save the top 4 and another one to win the FA cup. Sadly I feel like both won’t happen. Not to mention the huge game we have away at WBA.

Tony Pulis would love to pour some pressure on Arsene and as I’ve said if he doesn’t win every game from now on, people would just straight back jump on him and it’s getting worse and worse. The extension will be the final nail in the coffin. History has seen us bottle it against big sides in the last 10 years and we’re likely to do it again.

When you are a top club, you can’t brush off disappointments like they didn’t happen. And as much as I’d like to see us win the cup, City will be a step too big for our manager…

  1. Leicester looking to go into quarter final of UCL in first attempt something Arsenal haven’t done in last 7 attempts.

    1. HA559 if Accrington Stanley had the opponents Leicester had so far in the CL they to probably would get in to the semi finals

      1. if you fight the same person for 4 or 5 years in a row and you still get beaten, you must be a big f**l. Mourinho has been beating Wenger in the EPL for decades, still Wenger has no clue how to face him. he was right, someone is really the specialist in f*****

  2. Well its game over for us. Regardless who we would pick, we would still end up losing. So better get used to it.

  3. The FA Cup is a bonus trophy.
The League is the main game.
    City and Utd are compromised
    by Europe so will suffer.
    Liverpool look very weak.
Spurs and Arsenal therefore look best placed
to take 2nd and 3rd probably in that order.
If City lose to Monaco they will become the 4th team.
    1 Chelsea 2 Spurs 3 Arsenal 4 City 5 Liverpool 6 Man Utd.

  4. If we won the FA Cup I would be very happy.
To me it’s always been a major trophy since I was a child

However, I think it’s Chelsea this year

    1. Hahahahaha ….. I’m having a Laugh
      .
Seriously Arsenal girl, the FA cup a major trophy for you???

  5. This is absolute nonsense
    .
The last time i checked, city are still a mighty force to reckon with in england….. Why do we think it was such an easy draw?
    .
That’s to indirectly say we are scared of meeting the spuds or chelski!
    .
That’s how Low we are rated….

  6. Honestly, where i come from, wenger won’t Last even a year on that seat
    .
    Treating Arsenal this way ….
    .
The protests , the heat…. It would be too much for him to handle…. It would be a case of “Deliver or you are hauled out for someone else to give it a shot”
    .
But you North-Londoners!….i don’t understand how you could tolerate this sh** for longer than 20yrs…
    .
    Why die in silence??????

    1. I say old chap what are you trying to insinuate? What north London is not hot?
we know how to protest here in nort London too you know we once wrote a letter to Arsen Wanger asking him to leave and another time we wrote on a A4 paper saying time for a change but I forgot it home

  7. Mitov is just preparing his next article by suggesting City is a weak opponent. If Arsenal do get through he will say, it was only City. If Arsenal doesn’t get through he will say , you couldn’t even beat City.
This guy is more predictable than Wenger substitution timing.

  8. Leicester are playing like Real Madrid
They have changed their manager and all of a sudden they are playing like Leicester of last season
In the case of Arsenal……….they are afraid of a change
    Wenger out !!!!

    1. In the case of fans…
They are too stupid to see that the board at Arsenal have very little ambition and that spreads down through the whole club.

The last passionate guy we had on the board was forced out when he tried to get an investor in the club so we didn’t have to sell our best players year after year…

Forced out by a board that then promised not to sell to a foreign majority share holder… then sets Silent Stan up as majority share holder.

Look at Silent Stans other sporting teams, which of those are like Chavski and their owner who wants to win????

Arsenal fans need to learn to think for themselves instead of letting the daily rags tell them what is wrong.

      1. still Wenger is one of the sources of failure at Arsenal. he kept crying about lack of finances that’s why he failed to win a single EPL, a mid table team comes with less of everything compared to Arsenal and wins the league. so the conclusion is; money is not the failure at Arsenal, the manager couldn’t do it due to his primitive practices
