Arsenal remain keen to sign Kenan Yildiz this summer and would be ready to move as soon as Juventus opens the door for the talented attacker to leave. However, Juventus have so far insisted that Yildiz is not for sale, with the club building its current team around the youngster and wanting to retain his services.
Yildiz has also suffered an injury that could sideline him during the first two months of the season, but that has not stopped Arsenal from maintaining their interest. The Gunners regard him as one of the top players in the world, and a move for Yildiz makes considerable sense to them given his performances whenever he takes to the pitch.
Arsenal’s Interest in Yildiz
Christos Tzolis has been fantastic on Arsenal’s left wing since moving to the club, but if they sell Gabriel Martinelli as expected, they will need to bring in another left winger. Yildiz is the player they particularly want, although they have not come close to adding him to their squad so far.
Arsenal’s continued interest suggests they remain attentive to Yildiz’s situation despite the difficulties surrounding a potential transfer. His injury has not altered Juventus’ position, meaning the Gunners would still need the Italian club to reconsider its stance before any move could progress.
Juventus Maintain Their Position
According to Football Insider, even Yildiz’s injury has not persuaded Juventus to change their mind about keeping him. The report states that he remains distant from a move to Arsenal, with the Gunners facing a difficult task if they hope to add him to their squad during this window.
For Arsenal, the situation leaves Yildiz as a highly desirable target while Juventus continue to make their intentions clear. The Gunners could be prepared to act if circumstances change, but there is currently little indication that Juventus are willing to allow the attacker to leave.
With Arsenal potentially needing another left winger if Martinelli departs, Yildiz remains an attractive option for the club. However, Juventus’ firm stance means any move will depend on whether they eventually decide to open the door for his departure.

Early in this summer Aston Villa told us exactly the same about Rodger’s, that Juve are telling us now. Bizarrely, just couple of months later, not only was Rodger’s quickly out the door but Villa have nothing left to sell!
Juve won’t sell him
We’ve heard that millions of times from other clubs who eventually sold when a bid was made. It’s usually a tactic to get as much cash as possible.

I take the point, big difference between Juve and Villa at start of this window. Villa were already far more financially secure and are in Champions League so in for more money. 😇
DGR has a point. How often do we hear “not for sale” and it suddenly was worth nothing – just that ground rule for hardball negotiation in the background to get as much as possible.

Why it’s important to read media from other countries, as home media only tend to give you the home angle? For example we are led to believe Alvarez options for move are Arsenal or Barcelona? Look at French media, and PSG are seriously in for Alvarez, they don’t mention Arsenal, just PSG and Barca interest.
If Alvarez decided to move and not wait for Barca, is Arsenal his only Prem option? Or does it change the picture completely. If he is coming back to Premiership? Chelsea bid with the money they got for Fernandez – if Fernandez still there, Alvarez could return to Man City instead of buying Fernandez. Alvarez moving to Prem means a bid from Liverpool – he’s cheaper than Barcola – Alvarez could go to Liverpool.
How much deadwood have Man City sold to others at silly prices in the last 36 hours? Who now is Haarland back up? His Achilles are screaming and breaking, they need a back up for him. Man City are about to go massive in the last 5 days of this market – they may well sign Alverez and Barcola! Man City have clearly got some big signings lined up.
The player is injured, so I know he’d fit right in with our club. But don’t we have enough injured players.
Can we try and buy one that’s fit, well at least fit until he starts playing for us at least. 🤦♂️
