Arsenal linked with a move for 17-year-old Liverpool target

Arsenal is preparing to battle it out with Liverpool for the signature of Karim Adeyemi.

The Gunners seem to have struck gold with their signing of Gabriel Martinell as the Brazilian has impressed with seven goals for the first team so far. They are keenly looking for their next hot prospect and it appears they have found him in 17-year-old Adeyemi.

Adeyemi is a top German prospect who currently plays for RB Salzburg’s feeder club Liefering in Austria.

His reputation has been enhanced by the five goals and four assists he has provided for his team this season.

Reports from Transfermarketweb as cited by HITC indicates that Liverpool are also scouting the 17 years old as well as Barcelona per AS.

Arsenal has an excellent reputation for helping players develop and providing them with opportunities. Joe Willock is a perfect example of that.

Adeyemi would best be seen as a prospect at this stage and unlikely to get anywhere near the first team. However, Unai Emery has shown that he isn’t afraid to give youngsters a chance to prove themselves.

I know little about the young man. I have read a couple of articles about him and it seems he is indeed an exciting prospect and if the club decides to make a move for him then good luck to them, he would be very welcome at the Emirates.

  1. Depends on the price tag

We’ve spent a lot on Pepe. Our funds will be limited. We should focus on experienced players to improve our team now. Not spend too much on youngsters

    We have enough youngsters atm

  2. just the one question comes to mind, why would he choose the arsenal ahead of any of the afore mentioned clubs ?.and that aslo goes for any player with a choice between several big clubs.
