There is no doubt that the Premiership is becoming harder and harder to be successful in as the traditionally smaller teams are getting stronger and stronger, and just as ambitious to reach the European places as the TV cash gets spread around the top flight.
Certainly Arsenal are struggling to stay in the Top Four, but even Arsene Wenger must be amazed that Sean Dyche has taken Burnley back above them into fourth in the table.
Arsenal struggled to secure all three points in the dying minutes at Turf Moor last month, but since then Burnley have now won 3 of their four following fixtures and and tonight’s win over Stoke leaves Dyche’s men 2 points ahead of the Gunners.
To make it worse, Chelsea won 3-1 at Huddersfield to put them 6 points ahead of us and equal with Man United in second place. The pressure is on for Wenger and he desperately needs to get the Gunners to start improving their away form tomorrow night at the London Stadium. We have won just 2 of our 8 fixtures away from the Emirates this season ,and if David Moyes gets his team to play as well as they did in this weekends win over Chelsea then we are in for a very difficult night at our London neighbours.
Right now Gooners everywhere must be very very worried and if we don’t get all three points tomorrow then there should be serious questions asked in high places.
