As positive as everyone seems to be, going into the game this weekend, is this the worst time to face Liverpool?
I ask that because having lost their last Premier League game before the international break 3-2 to West Ham, and with their injury list supposedly piling up, they will surely be wanting to reap revenge on whoever they play.
They will be wanting to make another statement to show that the loss to West Ham was a one off and they will be wanting to show that despite the injuries they may have, they still have a squad strong enough to be able to get the wins and the three points.
Had we been playing them after the first two losses of the season then I would be feeling a lot more negative than what I am.
And although you have to believe you can get at least a point from any ground you visit, with the way Arsenal perform at times, things are just very unpredictable. And the more I want to be able to say I am fully confident we will win against them or even get a point, I say that with more hope than belief right now just because I believe they have a much stronger squad and seem to be able to get through games even not being at their best, as champions do!
But of course you just never know what will happen one the day!
Regardless of what happens, Arsenal as a team has come far and has done well to bounce back after the losses at the start of the season.
Yes it will be nice to come away from Anfield with all three points and if we do it will be a tough game for sure, yet we cannot underestimate te strength in depth Liverpool has and of course the anger they will be looking to get out after losing their unbeaten streak!
Either way the season will not be over for Arsenal if we lose, but if we draw or win it will be another great step to get to where we want to be!
