I think the fact that Arsenal have only now made a bid tells you how much nonsense is reported.
Igbo was to believe this or many other sites, the fee was agreed days ago and Bruno had his medical booked in for today.

He may very well sign for Arsenal, but will be at a price that values his importance to Newcastle to let him leave.
Arsenal will look incredibly foolish if they don’t pay the asking price after the last month of playing games via agents.
I think this will be a tougher deal than we think. Guimaraes would have to do an Isak and force the issue in my opinion. He still has 2 years left on his contract, with a club owned option to extend for a year.
After losing 2 big players already, and Howe gone, I think Newcastle will really lose the fans if they cave and sell Guimaraes to us as well.
