I believe if there is movement at all, it will come after Chelsea acquires Simon and Garnacho. I’m hopeful that the dominoes will begin to fall at that point. I believe Trossard’s situation and perhaps Zinchenko’s will be dependent on the results of our Eze efforts.

There are risks in that approach. I guess the potential reward depends upon how much Arsenal is hoping to save over the reported £68m release clause, or how they hope to persuade Palace to spread out that payment if not in one lump sum (as activating the release clause obliges Arsenal to do).
Berta has shown great skill in transfers so far so it will be interesting to see how he manages this one, if it comes to that, “against the clock”.
Of course, the alternative is to meet the selling club’s demands and also be prepared for potential buyers to offer less for Trossard, Zinchenko, and even Martinelli who could be available for transfer.
If it were just a matter of accepting the sellers demands then we would only need an owner with no personal spending limitations and someone would could crunch the PSR numbers.
I say we let Berta use the skills which seem to be so evident already.
What I’m seeing now is just that Arsenal must concentrate on how they can sell or offload some of the fridge players who have being eating our money without playing in the name of injury, blocking us from bringing more options. We can scoop some money from there sell and just add some thing .
