Who will win Arsenal’s Player of the Season? 2023-24 power rankings

Arsenal’s star winger Bukayo Saka keeps doing amazing things in games, but he’s not the absolute best player on the team according to the Power Rankings.

Last season, Arsenal tried really hard to win the Premier League, but Manchester City had more money and a really strong mindset, so they ended up winning everything. Now, Arsenal has to keep playing in the Premier League and also in the Champions League. To get ready for this, their coach Mikel Arteta spent a lot of money in the summer to bring in new players like Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Jurrien Timber.

These new players have had mixed experiences since they joined Arsenal. Some of them look like they could win the award for the best player of the season in May, but others are struggling a bit. Even with some players getting injured, Arsenal is still doing really well in the league and could win the title this year.

In addition, people are sports betting online on which player will be named the best player of the season, adding an extra layer of excitement to the competition. In the next few months, GOAL will be watching all the players on Arsenal to see who might win the award for the best player of the season.

1. Declan Rice (9/10)

People wondered if Arsenal made a good choice when they spent a lot of money on Rice this summer, but now it seems like they did. He scored a really exciting goal against Manchester United in September that made all the fans go wild, and he’s been playing really well ever since.

Not only is he scoring goals, but he’s also doing a great job in the midfield, controlling the game and making big plays. If Arsenal wins the title this year, Rice will be a big part of the reason why.

  1. Bukayo Saka (8.5/10)

Even though he’s only 22 years old, Saka keeps showing everyone that he’s one of the best wingers in Europe. He’s been a part of 27 goals for his team this season, which is really impressive. The only bad thing is that he made a mistake in a game against Fulham.

Arteta, the coach, needs to make sure he takes care of Saka and doesn’t push him too hard in the next few months. It’s important not just for Saka’s own sake but also for the sake of the England national team.

3. William Saliba (8/10)

Arsenal really felt the absence of Saliba when he couldn’t play at the end of last season, so Arteta is very happy to have him back now. We already know what Saliba is capable of, and this season he’s been playing really well in defense.

He hardly ever makes mistakes, except for one time against Liverpool. As long as he stays healthy, he’ll probably be chosen for the Premier League Team of the Season.

  1. Martin Odegaard (7.5/10)

Last season, Odegaard was like the engine that kept Arsenal going, but in November he got hurt. Even before he got injured, he wasn’t scoring or assisting as much as before, but he was still a big part of the team. Lately, he hasn’t been as lucky as he was in the great season he had in 2022-23, but it seems like things are starting to get better for him now.

  1. Gabriel Magalhaes (7.5/10)

At the beginning of the season, it seemed like Arteta wasn’t too happy with Gabriel, but he’s been playing in most of the games this season. Sometimes he has moments where he doesn’t play as well, which can happen with him being Brazilian, but overall, he’s been playing really good. There were some rumors that he might leave the team soon, but his performances have shown that’s not likely to happen.

  1. Gabriel Martinelli (7/10)

Martinelli had to wait for a long time to score his first Premier League goal this season, but when he finally did, it was a big deal. It happened right at the end of a huge win against Manchester City. Even though his stats aren’t as amazing as last season, he’s still been playing really well and making other teams nervous every week. His game against Liverpool in February was especially awesome, showing that he really shines in important games.

  1. Ben White (7/10)

Even though it’s not clear why he’s not playing for England, White is definitely one of the best defenders in the Premier League. He had to stop playing for a while because of an injury, but as soon as he was healthy again, he was back on the field playing for his team.
