Arsenal prepared to battle Barcelona for German teenager – including video

Latest Arsenal transfer rumours linking them with RB Salzburg’s Karim Adeyemi.

Arsenal remains one of the most reputable clubs when it comes to giving youngsters a chance to make their senior bow and they hope that would help in the signing of a German hotshot.

Reports from the Express claim that the Gunners are interested in signing RB Salzburg’s Karim Adeyemi.

The youngster, who is currently on loan with FC Liefering, is part of Germany’s U17 setup has netted 11 times and provided 8 assists in just 17 games this season.

His form has attracted the attention of several top European sides, but Arsenal hopes that they can beat the others to his signature.

Barcelona has been the front runner in the pursuit of his signature and the Catalan’s academy director, Patrick Kluivert is said to be keen to add him to their B side.

Arsenal, however, has given their first-team debut to the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli this season and they will be hoping that would convince Adeyemi to join them.

Liverpool is also linked to signing him, but the Reds’ front three would make it hard for an attacker to break into their first team.

The Gunners are still monitoring his progress and they may wait until the summer to make their move.

Here is a quick video of what he can do

  1. I believe Arsenal would be a more attractive destination for young talents nowadays, due to the chances we gave to our youngsters

That kid is quick and skillful, at least on his YouTube highlights. Arsenal have to get him ASAP

    1. Arsenal is the best team for youngster to develop the talent the manager knows the Ability of youngster

  2. Hope all these futbol megastars of
the future love playing in the
    Championship because unless AFC spend
BIG on a Top Quality CB and DM in
Jan. thats exaxtly the direction our
beloved club is heading in the short
term. I’ve grown tired of the AFC
    narrative of promoting or acquiring
youngsters to the first team when
NONE of these players address the
    TRANSPARENT position defencies that
have plagued the club for years.

When the January window opens the
AFC have to either give Freddy the
job or have one of Alegri, Pochetino,
or B Rodgers in place. Whoever the
Gaffer is that man is I would love
to see him make the following moves.

Offer RBL £50M and ESR for Upanecano
    the second the window opens.

Send Torreria back to the Siere A
for around £40M and bring in Sangare
    from Toulouse. The Next Patrick
    Viera.

If there are serious suitors for
Laca, move him along and either
bring in a young RB to challenge
    (And hopefully beat out Bellerin)
or a long term solution @ Cam. Aouar
from Lyon or Dominic Svosboslia from
    RBS would be fantastic additions.
Lacas transfer fee would cover ANY
    of those acquisitions.

    Recall Eddie K from loan

    Freddy or Alegri

    Auba
    Martinelli..Aouar..Pepe
    Xhaka..Sangare
    Tierney..Upamecao..CC..HB
    Leno

PLENTY of talent in this squad to
make a serious 2nd half run up the
table and more critically with a few
additions in the summer a team that
IMHO ould be serious EPL contenders
    for years to come.

  3. now let me see, the choice is arsenal or barcelona , hhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmn.i need advice on this decision,NOT!!!.who, in their right mind would come to the emirates these days?.uncertainty is rife , and, the future is very shaky.and, all that aside, why would somebody decide to come to the arsenal ahead of barcelona, tis a no brainer. but, it is a very nice thought, i would love for us to pull this coup off, but , i wont hold my breath.
