Arsenal set to join race to sign coveted midfielder Adrien Rabiot

Arsenal are claimed to be ready to make their move to sign Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Luckily for our club, we won’t need to win the jackpot at www.new-casinos.uk to try to bring the French midfielder to the club, with him having run down his contract, and will now be available for free this summer.

Rabiot has fallen out of favour in the French capital this term, and hasn’t been selected to feature once since December. Thomas Tuchel is not the first manager to have had a falling out with the midfielder however, and he is continually linked with transfers every time the windows come around.

Latest claims are that the 24 year-old is angry with his mother/agent, after a move to Barcelona broke down, and he is said to be looking at a change. It remains to be seen whether his mother’s involvement in negotiations have been a sour point for the midfielder in Paris also, but whatever happens this summer, his future looks away from Ligue 1 regardless.

Daily Poll - Are you confident that Unai Emery is the right man for Arsenal?

Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, Liverpool, Spurs and many others are also named amongst potential suitors for his signature, and it is believed that Arsenal winning on Wednesday could well prove key in trying to lure him to the Emirates.

The Gunners will have to beat Chelsea in the Europa League final this week to earn themselves England’s fifth Champions League place for next season, but a loss will not only see our side miss out on the elite European competition, but also leave England with only four entries.

Would Rabiot be a key player in the Arsenal midfield? Could we beat our rivals to his signature? Will he only move to a club with Champions League football?

  1. Would be an amazing pick up and allow us to remove Xhaka from the starting line up. Rabiot controlling the midfield with Torreira is the perfect combination imo.

We need to win Europa so we can get him across!

  2. Dream signings will be
    – Rabiot
    – Ziyech
    – Trossard
    – New CB

    1. Only in dreams will that happen

      1. I dont believe that would be to hard to believe. We are not breaking the bank for any of them.
We just need champions league to entice them.

  3. Rabiot would be a good signing. If we get him we should get rid of Xhaka. Xhaka could still net 30mill even though he has poor concentration. With the Xhaka cash I suggest James Maddison of Leicester City who is a genuine Ramsey-esque player. That would transform our midfield and give Ozil a better stage. I really like both Torreira and Guendouzi and the coming season will see them shine. We have missed Santi Cazorla more than any other player. He was our David Silver our genius. Where do we replace him?
It seems now is the time to bring back and keep Calum Chambers and Bielik for unexpected cover requirements. With Mavroponos, Holding and a new CB we could have the makings of a good back three. We must get rid of Mustafi who is just not good enough, we played him at right back sometimes and Chambers would have been a totally better choice. We would have made fourth place. A winger is a priority. We had a chance to buy Mahrez but whimped out of that. We were pathetic. Only Wilf Zaha is at that standard. Pay the money Arsenal/Satan Kroenke. He has become one top notch player. So definitely Rabiot, Maddison, Zaha and a couple of defenders. Keep Reiss Nelson, Smith Rowe, Nketiah and Willock in readiness to battle into the team. My fear is we will become a Seville/Valencia/Roma/Napoli team, always on the outskirts of success, always a couple of class players away from really challenging. We have been worse than second best for a long time now.

  4. It’s a bad idea if we have both….🤔🤔

  5. No matter who we sign, don’t expect us to finish in the Top 4 next season
In terms of quality Liverpool, Spurs, City, United and Chelsea are ahead of us and they will increase in quality (except Chelsea) this summer

It will take 2-3 seasons of transfers to get where we want to be

    1. Chelsea and United are the same level we are I would say. Tottenham might be slightly ahead but their 13 losses have not been talked about enough.

Chelsea have a transfer ban and may loose Hazard. United have a huge rebuilding to do and how that works out is yet to be seen. We in comparison are starting season 2 in our own rebuild. All in all, we have every chance to do well next season.

      1. Thank you 🙂
Glad to see someone else not claiming we are as bad as their delusion, supporting Arsenal.

You’re right, spuds lost 13 games, Arsenal lost 10.
Only liverpool and City scored more than us.

My main concern is the manager, he had 3rd easily in the bag yet messed it up. He had £70 mil of def reinforcements this season and we still conceded 51, same as Wengers worst ever year with us. Seems like the ideal one to get training on the up but tactics… he is stupid.

    2. You’re wrong.

  6. Break-on-through

He would be a good signing, but I doubt Xhaka would make way. It’s like people haven’t noticed that Xhaka has been our best midfielder this season, one costly mistake and him being rushed back into starting lineup at end of season doesn’t erase that. Torriera as good as he’s been, has tired in second half of season and people ignored the lesser effect he had in last quarter season, his mistakes do be wrong side of man mistake. Xhaka would play with Rabiot at times, because they are rounded players and both have height with strength, they would play a fair number together. I would look forward to seeing these two players together, and having a fresh Torriera or a fresh Xhaka more often. We do need the upgrade, but I don’t think it will go the way some people envision it, there’s a reason that both Wenger and Emery play Xhaka more often than the others, and why Xhaka is seen as the Swiss’s biggest player even though they have an entire country to choose from.
