Kenan Yildiz has been a transfer target for Arsenal for several seasons, and the attacker could be open to a move, but a report in The Sun says Juventus have no plans to sell him.
The Italians see Yildiz as arguably their most important player, and their intention is to keep him in their squad for the long term and build the team around him. Yildiz is one of the best left wingers in the world at the moment, and Juventus know he has a market filled with elite clubs who could make a move for him.
However, at the moment, the Old Lady has no plans to sell him and has informed everyone trying to lure the player away, Arsenal included.
Arsenal Refuse to Give Up on Yildiz
The Gunners have been doing their best in the transfer market, and they have some really top players, but including Yildiz in their squad would take the group to a whole new level.
They want that to happen, and have refused to give up on his signature, even though Juventus are clear that they do not want to sell.
Arsenal’s continued interest shows how highly they rate Yildiz and the impact they believe he could have on their squad. However, Juventus have made their position clear and do not appear interested in considering offers for the attacker.
Juventus believe Yildiz is too important to cash in on him during this window. His importance to their plans means they would rather keep him and continue building their team around his qualities.
Juventus Trust Yildiz to Stay
Yildiz is also happy because his current manager trusts him, so the Bianconeri do not expect him to push for a move to Arsenal.
That situation makes Arsenal’s pursuit particularly difficult. Even if the player could be open to the move, Juventus have no intention of making it easy for him to leave, while his current happiness could also prevent him from forcing a transfer.
The Gunners can continue to monitor the situation, but Juventus’ stance is clear. They want Yildiz to remain a central part of their plans for the long term and believe keeping him is more important than any financial benefit they could receive from selling him.
For now, Arsenal have not given up, but Juventus remain firmly opposed to letting their prized attacker leave.

Get this boy at all cost. I even prefer him to Alvarez. At this point, I don’t mind we swap Gyokeres for Alvarez and get Yildiz as replacement for Martinelli, then we are good to go for the season.
They should put all this defensive cover on hold first and sort out the attacks. That is more important. No coach ever won back to back with defensive football, they do it with sharp attacks which we lack seriously.

The only way to get Yildiz is with a time machine, going back 25 years and signing Del Piero. If Del Piero didnt play for a team, neither will Yildiz unless Juventus force him out. And even then he’ll want to go back one day to live up to Del Pieros legacy
Just like I already said under another headline – what the old lady is saying here is exactly the same as the noises Villa put out about Rogers, and look what quickly developed there. In fact how many times have a club said definitely not happening, and soon took the money? Surely what’s curious is Juve have come out and said this to the world and their fans, when no one asked them to?

As I also said in the other post about Quansah, is it all part of the dance and transfer season hype The Sun have to say “forget about it Arsenal fans – absolutely impossible to happen.” Or is it just so quiet about Arsenal incomings, like we are working under radar instead, media don’t have much to work with?
Of all the names banded, Kenny is my preference. And in the Prem, anything under £100M is getting to be middling transfers – but for Juve £85M plus add on will be huge.
Juve can get £85M plus add ons off us for someone who’s still largely potential, had a hit and miss last season learning in the job, not even real deal yet.
Personally I say watch this space on this one.

Offer them Martinelli?
We are talking about someone currently worth about two and a bit Martinelli’s. We are talking about £85M plus add ons. The cost would be buying the potential rating in world football, ballon Dor contender if potential realised.
Hyped for the World Cup, then flopped there. And didn’t have a great domestic season last season either. Still raw despite age and experience. Perhaps, on the mental side of things, weighed down by the potential tag and buzz around them.
Same position, but different type of player than Martinelli and Barcola – more of link up and killer pass than direct running on counter attack and eye for goal – which is why many feel he suits the Arteta system better.
The media love to tell us whose available and whose not. But if we are going to get this next stage of build right, it’s about getting a “whose not” over the line isn’t it?
And where media tell us not for sell, is this not big money for Juve right now?
But why would they sell someone that the directors and Spaletti have said they’re building the new team around because they know his potential? A player who keeps talking about idolising Alessandro Del Piero and wanting to live up to his legacy?
85m would probably need to be almost doubled for this to be considered. This needs to be viewed in the same way Lamine Yamal is viewed at Barca and how difficult it would be for a team to persuade him to leave. Del Piero to Yildiz is what Messi is to Yamal
Depends on money and where they feel they are financially. They do seem to be turning the corner on field after the problems, but they are now running with a cheaper model.
Other than that I can’t answer your question. If they did sell to us, and fans asked why, that’s the only way of getting the answer. But being competitive on field and finances are intrinsically linked – as an example look at Man City in the Pep years, the amount of money raised in sales, the amount of high potential young talent they sold in order to wheel and deal and deliver on field success.

Money is mute when an idol and/or legacy is involved. Ask Totti. Ask Shearer. Ask Maldini. Ask Gerrard. Ask Buffon. Ask Vardy. There’s more chance of Saka going to Bayern or Real than Yildiz to leave Juventus in the next 5 years. But its intriguing to see an Arsenal fan making comments about “just throwing money around” that 5 years ago they would’ve criticised Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd for being the only reason for their success…only for Liverpool to have spent less than 2 thirds than Arsenal and still won 2 PLs and a UCL against Peps City in their prime…intriguing

The way we operate on transfers does seem odd. We made all that noise we were going to tempt Roger’s from Villa – number 1 target. We never even made a bid.
Chelsea made none of that noise.

If anyone can produce one official piece of evidence that said we were going to tempt Roger’s from villa I’ll apologise, but I’ve scoured The Arsenal official website and I can’t find anything of the sort.
The way Arsenal negotiate in the Transfer Market is naturally annoying to us Gooners, because we all want the ‘best talent’ signed up and confirmed before any of our rivals get there first.
It’s the intelligent way to do it in my view, even if it does take time to get the ‘right’ deals over the line.
Arteta and Berta have to work within the Financial Rules of the Football Authorities AND the Financial guidance of the owners.
KSE is apparently the biggest sports franchise in the world, and they are not going to just throw extra £Millions for the fun of it.
I think M A and A B did well in last years summer transfer window, and we have the P L Title and C L Final (Penalty Shoot Out) – not to mention the League Cup Final, where individual Goalkeeping Errors cost us, to show for it – building well on the previous good transfer windows (Signing Declan Rice and Raya for example).
They’re doing OK this year so far as well, and M A has made it clear that they’re not finished yet, so let’s see how it goes between now and the close of the transfer window.
Agree Chris S, it definitely tests the patience but they clearly know what they are doing with regard to the market and financial constraints/opportunities even if they don’t always have a crystal ball for knowing how talent will work out.
