Arsenal reignites their interest in Feyenoord’s goal machine

Arsenal has reignited their interest in Santiago Gimenez, and this time, the Gunners may finally have the opportunity to secure the Feyenoord striker.

Gimenez has established himself as one of the top goal-scorers in European football over the last few seasons, maintaining impressive consistency. The Gunners had previously been expected to make a move for him last summer, but they opted to focus on signing Benjamin Sesko, a deal that ultimately fell through. Now, at the end of this season, Mikel Arteta’s team is once again in the market for a new striker, and this time, Gimenez has emerged as a strong option.

According to a report from Sport Witness, Arsenal is one of several clubs showing interest in the Mexican forward, who has six goals from just nine games so far this season. At just 23 years old, Gimenez presents an exciting long-term investment for Arsenal, who could add a promising striker to their squad for the future.

The Mexican international has been one of the best strikers in Europe for some time, and with his ability to score consistently, he could offer the Gunners a reliable option up front. Moreover, Gimenez might be content with a role on the bench initially, where he could continue to develop and wait for his chance to make an impact at a top club like Arsenal.

With his impressive form and potential for growth, signing Gimenez could prove to be a valuable addition to the squad. However, other Premier League clubs are also reportedly interested in the striker, meaning Arsenal could face stiff competition for his signature. To avoid missing out, the Gunners may need to act swiftly to secure the 23-year-old’s services and add a talented young striker to their ranks before another club swoops in.

Santiago Gimenez could be the ideal long-term solution for Arsenal’s attacking needs. His consistent goal-scoring record and potential for further development make him an attractive option, and with other clubs showing interest, the Gunners may need to act quickly to bring him to the Emirates.

  1. Lots of these stories about the best players on the market ……… only for my Arsenal to pop up with some dubious someone from ….. Chelsea or some such story on deadline day …. the someone we initially told is a real gem!!

    Very heartbreaking

    1. Totally agree. Bring our the salt shaker whenever one of these rumours pops up. Curious though to see what those involved at Arsenal have in mind. Go all out for serious reinforcements this window or sit it out till summer and see how far the already heavily stretched current squad can take us? For better or worse. Like most reasonable fans I wouldn’t want us to add to the existing future deadwood, so it would be best to save our pennies and spend big in July.

  2. This guy is just an average striker. He cannot survive the storm of the PL. Arsenal is always busy looking for cheap stuff and spending money up and down and gathering nothing.

It’s better to go with Jhon Duran. Aston Villa is trying to get rid of him and he is so good.
Consider Kolo Muani on loan without an obligation to buy then, look for the right fit in the summer

  3. If we do buy, it would not make sense to buy as a quick fix. Might as well splash out now for a long term solution.

Other option would be to look at a loan deal.
