£52m for an unproductive Madueke while Nwaneri is sent away. I don’t think there’s anything Madueke did last season that Nwaneri couldn’t have done, even better.

Why not allow the boy go on loan with mandatory playing time agreement to enhance his development in Germany or Spain. In two years, he would be ready while the likes of Bruno Gumares would have been fading.

Sell him with a buy back clause, if we’re going to let him leave at all. The club is looking at Fulham for this, which honestly isn’t the worst idea. As much as I’d love to keep him around too, if his development is getting blocked at Arsenal then it’s the right thing to do.

They’ll never get the chance to be good enough if they’re not given enough of a chance. And maybe if we played them more, we wouldn’t have or feel the need to go into the transfer market as much.
If you can develop you’re own players, that can be of big benefit to the club.
And by the way, don’t lose sight of the fact that I have never said that Vinicius isn’t a good player. He clearly is, I just don’t like a number of his traits. The fact it doesn’t bother you is fine. It does me, and that’s fine to. Just to repeat, Vinicius is a very good player, that I have never doubted.

I’ve not been complaining we need something in attack. I’ve just been responding to the very outside chance of us signing Vinicius. Which I think I’ve made clear doesn’t appeal to me.
No I meant in general dude ( maybe not you ) but some did complain that Arsenal lacked something in attack last season

Derek, I’ve wondered for a while if EN has a problem. We only used him when we were short, then at Marseille he hardly got game time when they changed Head Coaches.
Mind you we ended up getting more money from his loan due to him not appearing for Marseille.
