Arsenal should go for Martial, Fellaini and many others!

Arsenal and Martial by Brighton

I feel my blood rush when my team is linked to a complete finisher…but it seems that Arsenal is more of an Academy than a competitive team in that regard….But I am enjoying our recent market expeditions…

■ I feel we must really hurt ManUnited for what they did to us taking RVP and Sanchez and punishing us in the process. We must take Martial and Fellaini and really use them to our advantage…we NEED these players at Arsenal.

♥ Arsenal really really needs another just one deadly and proven Attacking Winger and Finisher…(Martial or Dembele or Douglas Costa or Malcom or Pavon or Mertins) in that order…..to bolster our Attack of Laca and Auba..

♥ And a Fast and Offensive Attacking Midfielder (Mahrez or Lemar)….to provide option and support to Mikhi, Ramsey, Iwobi and Ozil…

♥ I still feel we need to go for another defensive midfielder apart from Lucas Torreira…in Steven N-zonzi adding to Adli, Elneny and Xhaka…then our squad can suit any formation…

♥ Our defence is Ok with the acquisition of Sokratis, Litchsteiner and Soyuncu…adding to Chambers, Mustafi (whom i feel is still good), Bellerin, Monreal, Mavropanos….Kolasinac (the coach has to work on him) and Holding (whom i feel shoud be loaned)

♥Goalkeepers….Petr Cech is a good keeper but has to be second to a younger and agile keeper….I feel Ospina is good just that he needs his confidence back…i believe him coming from a World Cup having done well…he will be having high morale and can be given the first choice! Bringing Berndt Leno is interesting though…he is a good goalie….but it was going to be nicer if we had exchanged Ospina/Cech for someone like Oblak!

■Please Gunners just break the bank on 3 galacticos pliz pliz….
Martial
Mahrez
N’zonzi

And obviously bring in Fellaini….fo free! He is worthy the try!

  1. That will be penny pinching. Why can’t arsenal sell herself and buy Chelsea or Manchester united since your aim about get back at them.

    1. We are signing none of them as of now. As of now only sokratis, lichsteiner, soyuncu and torreira. We are in advanced talks for leno. I will update if i have any news on other targets..gelson is a very very complicated deal. He is on our radar but the deal is very complicated, especially if sporting decide to appeal after he moves.
      Im not kev btw

  2. Your reason to get Martial and Fellaini is the dumbest I can see, Even Wenger’s tactics was never as dumb as that. Why not go for Mourinho, Carrick and the whole united Squad instead? Out of that squad the only players I’d take anytime any day is De Gea and Martial. The rest I really don’t care about. But stop being delusional, I’m suggesting you buy the whole United as a club, along with it’s fans

  3. Arsenal should just buy everybody already. Even at that, some fans will still complain. My point is you can’t please everyone….

  4. Let’s be realistic man:

    – Martial would not be cheap and Arsenal have got many attackers that can play in his position

    – Fellaini is good for set pieces, but he must want big salary which is not possible for a backup player

    – Dembele and Costa are not for sale, Pavon and Malcom are expensive, but Martins could be free

    – Lemar is going to Atletico and Mahrez is a Man City target. Both are very pricey

    – N’zonzi is too costly for his age and I heard Leno is an erratic GK

But Arsenal surprised us last season with Lacazette and Aubameyang purchases. Hence they might surprise us again, by getting one of your players after the World Cup

    1. Im with you on everything except Martial, our team have no wingers mate.. no left wingers nor right wingers.. Wenger sold all our wingers before he left.. Walcott, chamberlain, Sanchez and the other wingers we have on loan are not good enough: Campbell, Asano, Lucas Perez (striker but played as winger for us when used) so we actually don’t have players that can play martial position except Mkhi and thats not even his main position

  5. «And a Fast and Offensive Attacking Midfielder (Mahrez or Lemar)….to provide option and support to Mikhi, Ramsey, Iwobi and Ozil”

    Really?? Another attacking midfielder?
Thank God you are not Sven…

  6. Just a few observations:

Martins and Pavon would be the most likely of
the two you mentioned if AFC decides to add
a winger with Welbeck and Perez heading for
the exit door. No chance with the others

Lemar seems to be off to AM and Mahrez, although
unplayable on his day isnt worth imho half of
    what LC are asking.

Rate N’Zonzi as a player but AFC would never pay
£35M for a 29yr old player with Torreria already
in the fold. AMN can rotate with the Uruguyain
as well as DM. I personally would like to see
Xhaka replaced with a more athletic B2B( Not
Ramsey) such as Doucoure or Ndombele but I
highly doubt that will happen this window)

The defensive additions are steps in the right
direction but Arsenal still lack the necessary
talent to seriously challenge the top teams.
Socratis is an older Mustafi, and if Sonyuncu
is signed the Young Turk, regardless of his
prodigous talent will need time to settle in the
EPL. Mavro, CC and Holding are yet to be
consistently trusted at this level. A Benatia, or
Luiz would make sense numbers and experince
wise, especially if Mustafi is given his walking
    papers.

Ospina will be off after the WC and Cech seems
to be well past his best. Leno, Rico, Butland
would all provide depth and healthy competion
    at the position.

    Martial….Never Going to Happen
    Mahrez….See Above
    N’Zonzi…See Above

    Fellani….Please No?

      1. I think he was with the author of the article and i agree with you with those players our squad is complete.

  7. Martial is a dream for us gooners but realistically would he really want to come to us when he could probably go to a bigger club? It’s he’s an Arsenal fan then by all means he’s welcome at the Emirates but don’t see his happening especially as he will be pricey & we don’t have that much funds to be fair after we buy Torreira, Sokratis, Soyuncu & Leno.

We bid cheap for Martins, guarntee Arsenal knew he would want to come as all the BS that has happened at Sporting Lisbon, especially knowing players are cancelling their contracts left, right & centre. He comes for a free & maybe Carvalho could be looked at as Fellani was. All Free

    1. Because juventus’s Rodrigo Bentancur started he has more experience and just won the double with them last season simple really

  8. Tbh if we’re going to break the bank, we need a world class CB in addition to sokratis, I’d ditch the Turkish kid and go all-out for kalidou Koulibaly. Try to bully Sevilla into selling Nzonzi cheap and get Martin’s on a free (although sporting could sue us for his entire release clause which is reportedly 60m if court rules in their favour)

    Lichtsteiner-free
    Nzonzi-20m
    Torreria-30m
    Martin’s-free?
    Koulibaly-50m
    Sokratis-17m
    Patricio-Free?
    Out
    Wilshere-free
    Mustafi-15m
    Lucas Perez-10m
    Xhaka-20m

    Approximately 70-80m net spend

more than Anything we need a Koscielny replacement and a bit of muscle (Nzonzi) and width (Martin’s) would be nice. I also think Patricio is sorely underrated

    1. I read somewhere that Xhaka has extended his contract. that indicates he is going nowhere.

      1. Now maybe the people on this site, who seem to think the likes of Ozil and Xhaka are no good maybe should listen to the past and present managers who think they are quality, maybe they know more, there again maybe they don’t?

  9. Obviously Unai Emery and Sven Mislintat expect big improvement fron Xhaka next season. Interesting times.

  10. I see overhauling, few arsenal qualities will remain, d remailing either sold or benched. I remember our new manager said he knows much abt our current players, that means he already knows who goes n who stays. Meanwhile, he has already mentioned some players he will build d team on. Arsenal need change .
