Arsenal star in trouble with snubbed team mates?

The Arsenal dressing room might be a slightly tense place to be once all the Gunners away on duty with their various countries are back together after the current international break, at least it could be a bit uncomfortable for the young Spanish right back Hector Bellerin.

Maybe his Arsenal team mates will not be too bothered, but if I was Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey or Per Mertesacker I would certainly be asking the defender to explain himself. The reason why these Arsenal team mates may be a bit miffed with Bellerin is his slightly odd and eyebrow raising choice of his best XI on The Fantasy Football Club.

As reported by Sky Sports, Bellerin did pick some of his current team mates and there was no surprise to see Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, Laurent Koscielny and Petr Cech in his team. A little more surprising was to see Nacho Monreal there, or at least it was to see the Spaniard as one of the centre backs, with our BFG apparently not as good in that role.

At left back he went for Jose Luis Gaya (?) a 20-year old who plays for Valencia and has played with Bellerin at various youth levels for Spain. Instead of Ramsey in midfield he went for OLiver Torres, another Spanish youth player who plays for Atletico Madrid, although not very often. His reasoning here was that Torres runs a lot??!!??

To complete the head scratching effect, Bellerin picked Watford´s Troy Deeney and Everton´s Gerard Deulofeu in the front line, snubbing the Arsenal strikers Walcott and Giroud. Would you like to be a fly on the wall when they next meet up?

    1. It seems a bit harsh to expect him to list his whole team in fantasy 11. And if he does not list his whole team does he really have to worry about the ones he does not list?

Let’s be honest he is spot on with respect to the ones he left out. Giroud, Mert, Walcott and Ramsey are hardly worldclass.

I thought it was quite nice of him to put some of his lesser known mates in there.

It’s time for the PL to start again. We are writing desperate articles now.

  1. Wow! If i were hector bellerin dont expect anything under the tree for xmas from theo, giroud, and big mert! Lol!

  2. Messi wants to come to Arsenal ?
but theres no way we could afford his £175 million fee or his £600,000 a week wages ?

      1. Arsenal are favourites to land Lionel Messi this summer but will have to hand him £600,000 a week to secure the deal, Starsport can reveal.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are also considering moves for Messi but the Argentina ace would prefer a move to north London if he quits Barcelona.

The Gunners would have to shell out a huge £18m a year AFTER tax, meaning Messi’s weekly wage would be an eyewatering £600,000 before deductions.

  3. That should tell Arsene Wenger how some of d players see our current frontliners… “Not good enough” and i think there’s no lie in that.
Mert, Theo, Giroud, Ramsey, Ox, are good, but pls, there’re BETTER options… *fact*

  4. First of all this article is not about Messi if only some of Arsenal fans will reason out there thought or thinking they’ll have know that Arsenal fc is no where near affordin Messi’ s wages my own opinion is that i believe Messi is getting closer every day to the end of his foot ball career and i can’t see Wenger to pay that kinda money to a 28 year old man.
& second of all Bellerin goes with his own volution he has the rite to choose any player of his choice that his own opinion he shouldn’t be or have to be blamed for what is his own choice .
