Arsenal sure have tabled a lot of offers according to reports

Maybe it is just me but it does seem that Arsenal have been tabling a lot of offers for players recently which is quite impressive considering we are supposed to have a fairly low transfer budget.

Let’s have a quick look at the offers we have apparently tabled over the last few days. Now, this is far from a comprehensive list and is just meant as an example of what is being claimed by the media and remember, these are being reported as actual offers.

The Daily Express published this and obviously so did every other media outlet

Transfer window specialists Tutto Mercato Web claim Arsenal have tabled a £22m (€25m) offer for Meunier.

This one was done last week and updated today by Get French Football News

Arsenal are expected to make an improved bid for 21-year-old Lorient versatile attacker Alexis Claude-Maurice this week, in the region of €13m, after having a €7m opening bid knocked back, according to information gathered by Get French Football News and Mohamed Toubache-TER.

The Metro have this as a headline

Arsenal submit improved £44m offer to sign Sampdoria duo Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen

HITC citing a Morrocon media house stuck this beauty up and they were not the only ones

Report: Arsenal make offer to sign Leganes striker Youssef En-Nesyri

The Daily star splashed this headline and no doubt got a ton of clicks

Arsenal have made an offer to sign Valencia goalkeeper Norberto Murara.

And don’t forget we have reportedly already agreed this deal according to the Metro from a few weeks back.

Arsenal agree deal to sign Brazil forward Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano

Like I say this is far from a comprehensive list and is spread out over the last few days but we are only at the start of the transfer window and it seems we have already tabled a fortune in bids for players.

Going to be a hell of a rollercoaster this summer isn’t it?

  1. It’s that season of wild, sometimes incomprehensible, transfer speculations especially when it involves Arsenal. Me I just read them and enjoy their momentary pleasurable effect and then……trash!

  2. I won’t believe any of them unless confirmed on the Arsenal website or Emery himself

    But still interesting to read

  3. While Liverpool are connected with high profile wingers such as Pepe and Chukwueze, Arsenal’s transfer rumors are all about unpopular players from mediocre clubs

This is disappointing because dangerous attackers such as Isco, Thauvin and Adama Traore are available. Napoli are chasing Adama Traore and Arsenal shouldn’t miss the chance again

His stats are awful at Wolves because he was always used as a substitute, but this boy has a huge potential as seen on his early days at Barcelona. If Arsenal want a low cost young winger, there is no harm in gambling on Traore

      1. Napoli must have seen something extraordinary from him and I saw him as super sub during Enrique’s era at Barcelona

He might be rusty like Denis Suarez due to the lack of chances to play as a starter and bad coaching, but his physicalities, tricks and price tag are a bargain package

        1. Lol It funny the 1st time I see you not using a stat over a player… Yet you want us to buy one without your almighty stats claims this is wonderful.

The guy you claim Adama Traore he had play for 3 to 4 clubs after Berca stint and yet among the clubs he never cement his place as a 1st team… It’s pretty obvious why he is rusty… He only has speed in him without end product… Take Salah skills and goals away from him you get Adama Traore…. If we need a sprinter we know where to find one in the Track fieldwe van use you as the scout eh you don’t require stat on that one

  4. Shame we are looking for very chancey players. What about Aaron Ramsey clone, James Maddison of Leicester. He’s top notch. Don’t hesitate Unai Emery or we will have the most ordinary midfield in the premier league.

    1. We can’t afford Maddison..

I would rather gamble on Palacios or Nandez rather than getting average Praet, who won’t get any better. Why aren’t we after our ex-Academy player Bennacer? He’s doing quite well for Empoli.

      1. Mclovin
Just trust Emery, Dennis Praet is very good player if you really understand football everything players we are linked now Monaco and Athletic Madrid or Lyon they are after too

    2. Sean Williams,
Arsenal doesn’t not have money to buy average and overrated players like Zaha, Maddison, Maguire and Chillwell

  5. There is no need to look far. Good British players should be signed. championship has alot of talented players at fair prices.

  6. We’ve got far better players in the U23s and academy than Praet.
All I can think is he must be a make weight in the proposed Andersen deal.
We really are being linked with some underwhelming players at present and I hope most of these rumours are bull?.

  7. Given that we have the following players from the academy
    1. Reiss Nelson – Winger / Second striker
    2.Bukayo Saka – Winger
    3.Xavier Amaechi – Winger
    4.Nketia – Striker
    5. Miller Smith Rowe – Midfielder
    6. Joe Willock – Midfielder
    7.Bielik C/Defendet /defensive mid (Had got loan spell )
    8. Chambers – Defender/Defesive mid (Good loan spell at Fulham)
    9. Mavopranos – Central Defender
    10. Holding – Out injured but will be backseat season

I think buying more than 2 is silly unless if real quality.

  8. Id rather we didn’t even sign anybody than accumulate even more deadwood. If Praet is the kind of midfielder Emery wants to bring to us and further dilute our quality, I think we made a big mistake hiring him. I guess next season we fight for Europa league qualification with Leicester, wolves and Everton.

  9. The most important signing Arsenal could make is to bring in the available Dennis Bergkamp as Technical Director. The magic he achieved with the Ajax youth teams will be transferable to Arsenal under this legend in conjunction with Freddie Ljungberg.

    1. Denis Bergkamp would be a wonderful acquisition it would be a dream come true GO GET Emery

  10. Who knows whether any or none of these rumours have legs. But at least I care about who comes. Better than the nonsense article about what kit we will wear next. That is a giant marketing con, designed to fleece hard pressed fans and designed to enrich, indirectly through wages, the players and their agents jet set lifestyle and nothing whatever to do with winning honours or improving our team. If anyone can name me a single honour even won by a kit I will apologise . Until then the whole kit con is a giant YAWN! At least to us mentally ADULT fans. Such a shame so many fans are turned on by a minor change in shirt colour, design or style. I did not start following FOOTBALL BACK IN THE 1950’S BECAUSE OF KIT! YAWN, YAWN YAWN!

  11. Thanks Jon fox, I was wondering if early announcement of our kits out weights the importance of announcing our quick signings of the right players needed in the right places we’ve been woeful, where’s the the proceeds from shirts selling let’s add it to our budget and acquire more quality players, let’s quickly settle the issue of Technical Director, if Denise Bergkamp is available why don’t we engage him as Edu has unfinished business. Let’s put Wenger’s tactics of deceit, slow pace, foot dragging failure prone transfer market era to end. Let Emry be quick and seriously decisive in this transfer window, no dulling at all, sell off the deadwoods and the surplus ones, forget the train of over hyped and priced Zaha and co. Some of them are decent but not their price tags, was £75m Lukaku able to win Golden Boot or secure top four for Man.U, remember we were wasting over £100K per week for the likes of Walcott. Let Emry settle our transfer deals asap not forgetting to ship out Ozil and Mihky by all means keeping Auba and Laca and let the war start next season. Our success will sell our shirts, attract more quality players and guarantee us better brand.
