Arsenal targets not for sale, but can they stop them leaving?

Leciester City vice-chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has played down the availability of the club’s key players.

The Foxes completed a hugely surprising Premier League win this week, overcoming huge odds of 5000/1, and are now eager to keep their current squad together ahead of their first ever assault on the Champions League next term.

Srivaddhanaprabha said: “We will play in the Champions League next season, why would they want to move? I don’t see the reason.

“We will try to keep them but it depends on the players as well.

“If they want to move, we will talk to them and ask why they have to move.”

Both Riyad Mahrez and N-Golo Kante have been linked with a switch to the Emirates this summer, and the latter has also hinted at a possible move at the end of the season.

The France international earned a place in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year, and looks likely to push for a move in the coming window.

Kante could be the perfect partner for January signing Mohamed Elneny at the base of the midfield, and could also be used alongside Coquelin for a more defensive option, as we look to find the balance to mount out own title challenge next season.

The 25 year-old is also wanted by a number of other clubs, but he seems the perfect fit for our style of play, and could bring some much-needed Premier League winning experience with him.

Mahrez’s agent also talked up a possible move for his client recently, describing his chances of a move as ’50-50′.

The club’s vice-chairman claims the players should not want to move, but we all know that money talks, and with football players having short careers, the chance to move to a bigger club can be hard to turn down.

Saying that, what the Foxes achieved this season must be overwhelming, and the idea of continuing that dream could prove exciting.

Could Leicester really convince the duo to stay at the Walkers Stadium?
