Arsenal given MORE derby incentive after Man City fluff lines

Arsenal fans found out to our cost just how well organised and frustrating Middlesbourough can be, as Aitor Karanka´s team held the Gunners to a draw a couple of weeks ago to halt our growing momentum and stop us going clear at the top of the Premier League.

The newly promoted team worked extremely hard and Arsenal were unable to break them down, but they did not offer too much going the other way, so when Man City took the lead against Karanka´s men just before half time at the Etihad stadium today, not too many folk would have expected anything but a home win.

To ne fair to them they did have plenty of chances before and after Aguero´s goal and even though the on loan Arsenal defender Calum Chambers and his new team mates managed not to concede again the result looked certain. Until injury time that is, when Boro stunned Pep Guardiola and City with a goal to rescue an unlikely point.

With Liverpool not playing until after Arsenal tomorrow and with our goal difference currently better, today´s result means that a win over Tottenham in the derby will put us clear at the top of the Premier League, at least until Klopp´s team face Watford and hopefully for the rest of the week.

Will this extra incentive make Arsenal even more determined to mash the spuds tomorrow?
