There have been thousands of Arsenal transfer rumours this summer regarding the Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele joining his friends, Aubameyang and Mhkitaryan at Arsenal after an underwhelming season at the Nou Camp, despite the numerous denials from the La Liga giants.
ElMundoDeportivo reported: “Unai Emery likes Ousmane for his new project ‘gunner’ … … The formula was to achieve the rental of the Barca winger for a year for 10 million euros and defer to next year the payment of another 90 million depending on how his performance was.”
But now, on the last day of the EPL transfer window, we can finally put these hopes to bed, because that is all they were from the beginning, hopes!
Dembele himself has now made it very clear that he will not be leaving the Catalan giants, not even on loan. An article in Football London reports:
As reported by Marca, Dembele took part in the live broadcast on FM_Guru’s Twitch earlier today and was asked about the interest from Arsenal and if he would be leaving Barcelona this summer.
Dembele is reported as saying: “I’m staying at Barca, I’m ready to play the Super Cup.”
So there we have it, straight from the horse’s mouth so to speak, so can Kev and Chiza now stop talking nonsense please?

in the past the press took the mickey out of gooner fans by spinning a yarn about higuain coming to us – i think this drivel about dembele signing for us is much like headlines about mbappe signing its all a media-constructed joke and ought to be treated as mischief making. nothing more.
If there’s any signing for arsenal today it will be a defender has been confirmed…. Right from time I know arsenal will not be a able to afford dembele,some people are just spreading fake stories about the dembele issue and other transfers…so ignore any fake story today
Dembele deal can still happen…have faith…..We have to play to the whistle which means having faith till the ultimate deadline countdown….anything can still happen…we can still have dembele or the winger that we wish for…arsenal are working hard to get a winger..trust me…
