Arsenal transfer rumour round-up – Benzema, Lookman, Turan, Alberto, Lozano,

With the international break yet to be broken up by domestic football for the Premier League sides, the rumour-mill has continued to roll, with Arsenal continually speculated.

One player who is ALWAYS linked with a move to us is of course Karim Benzema, and it appears as though he will need to die before the links will die down. Real Madrid are once again being linked with replacing the French striker, but the reality is that the club are desperate to add to their attacking ranks having sold Alvaro Morata with no replacement coming in, and his exit would mean they are in need of two more additions. The latest claim is that Jose Mourinho knows all about Arsenal’s interest in Benzema from his time with Real.

Another player who has been linked with a move to the Emirates previously is Arda Turan, and he is also tipped for an exit in the near future. The Barcelona playmaker has become surplus to requirements, and is believed to be on the move in January. Arsenal is claimed to be his most likely destination when he is offered out when the window opens.

While Turan could be eyed as a possible replacement for Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez is tipped to be replaced by young PSV winger Hirving Luzano. The 20 year-old has set the Eridivisie alight since joining this summer, with six goals in six, and is being eyed for a quick move to the Premier League. Arsenal are linked with a possible £20 Million move on Steve Rowley’s recommendation.

Another young future star tipped with an Emirates move is Ademola Lookman. The striker has been overlooked by the under-pressure Ronald Koeman this term, despite impressing when given the chance, and is supposedly being lined up as a possible £15 Million move.

A third young future star is also said to be on our radar, but may be somewhat tougher to land. 16 year-old Yuri Alberto is said to already be rated at £37.5 Million after his eye-opening performances at the Under-17 World Cup. The striker’s representatives are said to have been contacted and a January offer could be lined up.

Would our club splash out that sort of fee for a 16-year-old? Can you imagine any of the above joining our squad?

  1. Lookman, we got Lacazette and Giroud so no need for Benzema
Lookman, we won’t be getting anybody in January (most likely), so no point of having transfer rumors. Lookman, let’s concentrate on the Season. Lookman, I’m looking forward to us beating Watford away
    LOL

  2. Another young exciting AM we have been linked to is Miguel Almiron who has started well in the MLS, not the EPL but he made that step up and looks like he could make another step up.

What concerns me is the volume of potentials that has been linked, like we may buy 3 AM to replace Alexis, gamble that 1/3 will become really good rather than all eggs in one (Lemar?) basket.

Almiron, Chucky Lozano and our old Ozyakup. All rumored to be around the £20 million.

This way if Ozil does leave at end of the season then the board will say they got their replacements in early and we should see the best out of them after they have been here for 6 months.

£60 million (about) would be cheaper than buying Lemar… then finding a replacement for Ozil.
