Arsenal v Qarabag Confirmed Teams – Saka gets his debut and Ozil and Koscielny start

So here we are with our last Europa League Group game, and we are sure to be making many changes.

So here is the team I predicted earlier…

Cech
Jenkinson Sokratis Koss Monreal
Elneny Guendouzi Maitland-Niles
Mhkitaryan Willock
Nketiah

And here is Emery’s confirmed team…

So I did pretty good choices for the defence, except of course putting Martinez in goal, but Emery as usual has totally surprised us with his choices up front. I didn’t expect to see Ozil and Lacazette starting in any scenario, but Nketiah should surely get loads of chances coming his way, with Ozil and Lacazette alongside him…

This is definitely a game for Arsenal fans that like to have an eye on our future stars, and I for one am really ooking forward to seeing how they get on. Lacazette and Nketiah to get 2 each?

  1. I’m so glad to See Saka to get his Debut, the lad is mad good…. Emery seems to be interested in keeping our unbeaten run going that’s probably why he fielded a strong team.

    1. Eddie, I hate to admit I don’t know much about Saka, can you enlighten me on position and style etc? Many thanks.

      1. Saka is a Winger, likes to play direct football, dribbles and drives the ball towards opponents. Left footer, can play the left or right wing, he’s talented. Look out for him tonight.
What I love most bout him is his hunger to drive the ball towards defenders and dribble. If he keeps it up, we’ll be having our own Leroy Sane in the ball in the future

  2. The mighty Arsenal followed by World Darts at the Ally Pally…. happy days!
Come on Arsenal, finish it in style… Mesut’s back ?

  3. Saka is damn good, goes past players like they are not there , very deadly finisher too, he is kinda similar to Robben, though he plays on the left now, his future is definitely cutting in from the right. His pace is pretty decent too.

Excited to see him start, he has been lighting up the U21s.

  4. Saka is a good player, similar playing style to Robben, he plays on the left now, but his future is definitely cutting in from the right. Great dribbling skill, pace and deadly finishing.

  5. A bit disappointed that AMN isn’t in the midfield but good to see him getting more time. His time will let come.

  6. You were close. I wanted to see more youngsters, but at-least we get a look at the kid Saka. Willock, Nketiah too. Should we be taking risks with Lacazette and Sokratis, they are very important to our season. I know winning brings confidence. Iwobi needs it, is he injured or something. Lacazette hasn’t played full games of late, but he’s still one of our biggest players. Maybe I’m worrying over nothing, I hope so.

  7. We’re at home, against a weak a opponent, in a dead game, with zero pressure…Ozil will have a blinder!! Haha!!!

  8. First clear chance from Lacazette and he scores, that’s a potent striker we’ve got in our books…

  9. I think this match is going to be a cricket score, the combination of ozil and laca is first class, ooh how we’ve missed you mesut..

    1. I HAVE NOT MISSED HIS LAZINESS ONE BIT. This is clearly the reason Emery dropped him at Bouremouth, which says it all to realists like Emery. AND me!

  10. We seem up for it, even though the game is meaningless, there’s some good energy. Good to see Ozil back, and even better to see him assist again. Lacazette and Ozil, we want them building up a repertoire. So that combination, we’ll be seeing allot more of it. I want to see the younger lads grab the game by the scruff. It’s a great sign if they can manage to do that, don’t be intimidated or overawed by senior players.

  11. willock is pretty awful.. not sure what he is good at.. no control, no vision, not particularly strong or fast….
