Arsenal v Spurs Review – Majestic Arsenal shoot into Top Four with four-star display

We have all bemoaned Arsenal’s slow starts this season, but against Spurs they came out of the traps flying and certainly wweren’t playing like underdogs. The Gunners deservedly took the lead after just ten minutes when Aubameyang converted the penalty from a blatant handball in the area.

Arsenal continued their dominance and both Iwobi and Auba both had chances to double our lead, but then we had two minutes of madness. First off all Alli got on the end of a curling freekick into the box, which Leno should really have saved. This sparked a mellee on the touchline with lots of handbags on show, and then straight from the kickoff, Son sprinted into our box and when he was cut down Mike Dean had no choice but to point to the spot. Harry converted that one just as well as Auba did for us. Arsenal were 2-1 down and set to go to another half-time without a lead…

It was a very fiery half with more chances at both ends, but we couldn’t pull one back and we went into the break despondent, but then again we always improve after half-time don’t we?

Emery worked his usual magic and brought on Lacazette for Iwobi and Ramsey for Mhkitaryan and we swiflty took command again, but it was another 15 minutes until we finally equalized with a brilliant reflex shot from Aubameyang which left Lloris with no chance at all.

It was brilliant to see the fight in the team, and it was only a matter of time before we took the lead again when Lacazette found a way past the two defenders and Lloris with a sliding left foot cut that crept into the corner and the Emirates went crazy! But the job was not yet done, and we had to wait until only ten minutes remained and Torreira flew down the inside wing and smashed the ball past Lloris to put the points in the bag and assure our place back in the Top Four. This was all the sweeter for getting there while relegating our biggest rivals into fifth place on goal difference.

Spurs never looked like getting back into it and when Jan Vertonghen got his second yellow with five minutes left, they had lost all hope of another comeback.

A brilliant day for Arsenal and the home supporters, but especially for Unai Emery who has now taken Arsenal into a 19 game unbeaten run after our opening two defeats.

A great, brilliant, fantastic, incredible day for Gooners everywhere!

    1. lucas torriera u can have my wife, what a man – oh my god i love u lucas!!!!

CAN YOU HEAR THE TOTTENHAM SING- I CANT HEAR A EFFING THING!!!!!

      UP THE GOONERS!!!!

      1. Odd comment?? is mesut really as insignificant that you see need to thank God? Ozil simply has to concede the fact there’s a new man in charge – other than this its foolishness for you to cast mesut ozil in the light you just did…

        1. Thank you, the fact that you don’t win some games when a player plays and that you win in his absence doesn’t mean he’s the reason u didn’t win
So what’s the thank God in the fact that ozil didn’t play and we still won

        2. It is more foolish for you to not to respect other people’s views even if you don’t agree with them. Receive sense

  1. To all those who bashed me when I said this match will not be lost due to formation i.e a three back system I hope you can now see what I’m saying. This match was always going to be decided by passion, fight and hunger.I’ll also willingly accept that Iwobi was not that good in this match. It will also interest me to know if Ozil fans would’ve said “We miss Ozil’s creativity” had we lost this match. Our best players were Aubameyang and Torreira. This match also tells me Leno has not improved and he’s still error prone.Hes always been a fantastic shot stopper in his previous German club.He even won the save of the season in 14/15 or so but mistakes is what made him sold.I’ll still maintain that Xhaka,Bellerin,Mustafi,Kolasinac,Holding,Iwobi and Mkhitaryan are not top quality by any means. This victory is so sweet Im salivating even after the match.Lastly, credit to Sue for maintaining the faith and not being plastic?

    1. agree accept for holding i thought he was damn good … not a penalty if rash but showed composure and strength throughout game… should start before mustafi who is just a liability … and yes i missed ozil’s creativity … miki ramsey and iwobi aint going to fill his boots however much they run around … but great afternoon regardless

      1. Holding over Mustafi? No brainer.Still dont agree on him being good enough as a starter.
Well I didn’t miss Ozil’s creativity and have never done even when he doesn’t play.

    2. Getting the ball to our attackers is something I think reaps more awards for us than trying to “create chances” through midfield maestros. Ramsey (okay, yeah hes also inconsistent) was simply in advanced positions, was alert, and quick on the ball and quick in decision making and when you have Auba and Lacazette as your strikers it’s easy. They just need the ball in attacking areas. Some games we struggled they were not getting on the ball nearly enough and we kept possession in midfield far too long. Get the ball to their feet and watch magic occur.

    3. It’s not about being plastic , such a cliche word
It’s about being realistic and watching what’s been played before, you can honestly say when you saw the same team that played so bad last week your 1st thing to say was it’s going to be won by passion,I won’t even bring up what you said about iwobi before the match ,match only changed in the second half now that’s what I call changing the formation

      1. Please I choose my words carefully.I know why I used “plastic” as I read several comments very well that seemed to be such. The funny thing is I already knew Arsenal were going to win or draw this game even before it started and if you read my comments in thecprevious article then you’d know this.On the passion aspect, what I meant is that previous North London derbies we played have been won largely by this factor and I can even say lots of things are irrelevant in a derby like this.I do not use this same “passion” for other matches because they aren’t the North London derby.Once the derby pressure gets to you the match is won based on mentality, passion and will to win.Hence I can even predict Arsenal delivering an average game against Utd next week. Please do not cherry pick as I’ve told you I see Iwobi as an average player but due to lack of option or dribblers I’d start just to cause some trouble to the opposition.

        1. kev, Like us all you do not and can never KNOW we are going to win. You called it right this time and I called it wrong and am thankful that I DID call it wrong. I am humble enough to apologise ,which I do here and now, for much underestimating our quality by comparison to Spurs. Are YOU humble enough to admit you are ever wrong, esp on the transfer hotline you claim to have which is obviously nonsense? You thoroughly research all the many rumours and pick those which you fancy. It at least shows how much you care, which is to your credit. Sometimes you will get it right but most often you do not. Just do not boast so much though, as it is tedious and childish. This does not mean you are a fool as you clearly are not but merely that you like to boast, regretfully. No one minds when you get things wrong; I do too and we all are human. But claiming only YOU hold the right info is plain silly. CONGRATS ON CALLING THE SPUDS GAME RIGHT AND FAR BETTER THAN I DID. I will learn to trust our team more after today, though I still believe there are clear weaknesses , mostly in pure defence and esp all the CB’s, even though we got away with our regular defensive errors today, thanks to Spurs handball , which was equally silly to Holdings rash penalty challenge and to the frenzy of passion which was kept kept stirring by Emery and our superb crowd, not to mention our marvellous players. Or most of them anyway. PERSPECTIVE!

          1. Thanks for the advice.Id also like to advice you to not come across as more wiser than anyone. There are times when you make it look like your comments matters than those of others and even though you are sharing your opinion you should know how to do it else it can make you look bossy. It will be far better to be humble to prevent a wrongdoing than to do wrong and apologize in humility. Many things couldve avoided in this world if only we humans considered the need for humbleness when sharing our views.
Btw I’m not an ITK.I just take info from ITK’s and state them as given.Hence why some are wrong and some are right.

    4. Kev, I suppose you wan’t to bring Cech back. I don’t know if you noticed on your television but being at the game I noticed a slight deflection literally a metre in front of Leno. Very difficult for the keeper. I thought Leno was exceptional and has been since taking over the number one spot especially with his decision making, coming out of his goal to intercept through balls, whereas Cech would have been rooted to his line and don’t get me started on his ability with the ball at his feet.

      1. ??
No goalkeeper could’ve stopped that goal without injuring himself. Leno is doing great.
And the penalty? Goalkeepers are only fortunate to catch them. And that penalty was a wrong call anyway.
On Guendozi, that boy is truely a gem and is going to become great if he keeps his head in check. But someone needs to tell him to stop being overzealous. He runs all over the pitch collecting passes meant for him and those not meant for him, even from the legs of senior players, sometimes creating terrible problems for the team in the process.

    1. Lots of things become irregular in a derby like this.Even very average players can look world class in a derby like this because it’s more about passion.Sometimes emotion can even cause a player to be so good. This match proved to me that Arsenal hate Tottenham with a passion.Leon was being too critical. The two goals Tottenham scored were all gifts and the match should’ve been ended in the first half.

  2. What a derby, angry comeback from Arsenal! As usual, Arsenal did not have the answer for quick runners like Son, but the player’s spirit turned the table:

    – Aubameyang: Excellent finish and work rate

    – Iwobi: Arsenal need more daredevil runners, but Iwobi is usually not the one

    – Mkhitaryan: Lacking the confidence and the guts to challenge the ooponent’s defenders

    – Torreira: Very combative, made a lot of interceptions and tackles. Very influential today and one of MOTM candidates

    – Xhaka: Nothing special, but defended well

    – Bellerin: Good in going forward, apart from one bad pass to Son

    – Kolasinac: Made excellent crosses and very good when attacking

    – The CBs: Some of them made bad decisions, but solid in defending and very determined to redeem their mistakes

    – Leno: Good saves, despite conceded two goals

    – Ramsey: One assist to Aubameyang and one crucial steal for Arsenal’s third goal. Might not one of the most skillful players in the field, but his spirit is great and he looks suitable to be a false nine in 4-3-3 formation

    – Lacazette: Looked good as a wide forward in 4-3-3 formation

    – Emery and his staffs: World class tactical decisions in making the second half’s substitutions and tactic

    1. we cried for a dm since gilberto left – we finally get one…and BOOM
never heard of lucas before world cup
but a few ppl on here swore by him…

      you were right

      1. Sometimes fans do know things. Many said Torreria was an absolute beast, and boy were they understating things. Just when you think Torreria can’t get any better, he shows a composed, perfect goal slotted past what’s his name in spuds goal.

Kid is well on the way for setting the DM standard at Arsenal.

Too soon to talk about statues? Need to start planning for 4 more; Torreira, Auba, Laca, and Guendouzi. Only matter of time with Guendouzi. Xhaka, you’re on notice Guendouzi is coming for your spot, and will probably take it.

        1. Debating with friends over best Arsenal signing.

          4 for Auba
          4 for Laca
          2 for Guendouzi
          6 for Torreria
          3 for Sven
          7 for Emery.

For me its Emery with Sven close 2nd, much respect to all on the list tho.

If Torreria adds calm, composed scoring to his locker, then it’s him as best signing. Wow he’s special

          1. Durand, Lucas Torreira started life in football as a forward and didn’t he show that experience with his run and finish. A DM Arsenal have cried out for Gilberto Silva left. The player buy of the season!

  3. Love it awesome dier needs a good shoeing though!
Emery a amazing and bold but got to say Ramsey > Miki.
    Ozil who?

  4. Awesome. ear to ear grin ?
People were so negative at half time and forgot about Aubameyang and Lacazette and the Emery substitutions

    Happy Happy Day
    COYG

  5. god i love this club
ive just made a absolute embarrassment of myself and the missus at this dinner party

    couldn’t be happier
this is what its all about people!!!!

  6. What a game! What passion! Is Ramsey showing Emery enough for a rethink? My god Torreira is a machine. Don’t look now but I think we might just have our Arsenal back.

  7. Ozil nobody@kieron….
Man this game had it all…like I can’t even put my feelings in words…the commitment! The spirit! The togetherness….like Emery really cooking something up…

  8. Wow! What mental and physical strength the boys displayed today! Nicked the result right from under Pochettino’s nose. Those spuds gave us a torrid time for sure. I also thought Mike Dean was actually fair today. Am feeling confident we will take the fight to utd next week at Old Trafford and at least get a draw. Phew, what a game.

  9. Best team display I’ve seen in years ,I’m not going to lie when I saw that same team that played last week against Bournemouth I was alittle p1ssed but I was proved wrong ,but only after iwobi and miki went off did we look like we were going to win ,good 1st 20 minutes in first half then went to pieces but pulled it back in the second half :and what a second half .
Best players for me bellerin ,torreria ,auba :players that need to move on iwobi miki

    1. Some of us knew you would be proved wrong. Again, you are wrong with “only after iwobi and miki went off did we look like we were going to win”. In the first 20 minutes before they scored we were so good that we could have scored 2 more (1 Auba missed and 1 cleared off the line). You are also wrong with Iwobi needs to be moved on.

  10. Guys anyone remember the breakdown our team used to had against big teams during wenger’s tenure.Remember Liverpool and Chelsea game.Today really we showed character and quality first time this season where no luck was involved in our victory. We definitely are improving

  11. as I said – see last thread – this team’s in better shape than many (here) give it credit for. Turning over the spuds and performing admirably against Lfc is a good indication that once again we are in ascendancy. Our home form has been formidable (even last season): it’s at home we we’re found to be wanting. There were fighters in our team today we showed solidarity.

*Happy for the fans and its another thumbs up for Unai Emery.

  12. Torriera, what a fighter and Xhaka played well today. I just love the total fight of the team. I sometimes wonder what our non English players understand about the NLD but saw today they totally understand it!

  13. @Jon Fox
Mr. Fox in a comment on another post you asked me “Based on what evidence will all of them be fine?” Well, as you can see 3 of those 4 where involved in the game. And they were a part of the team that won 4-2. That’s the evidence you wanted. Please note, its only the result that matters and not your observations or analysis. So, if you are not honest enough to admit then I wouldn’t bother explaining/arguing any further.

In another comment you called me “totally unreaslistic optimist”. Unfortunately for you, the result and the performance proves that it was correct to be optimistic instead of pessimistic. Of course, next week could be different, but these exchange of comments were for today’s game. And you have been proven wrong. Thanks.

And while, I am at it let me also tell you that Bellerin and Kolasinac were both very influential.

Thank you. Despite difference of opinions, respect to you as a fellow Arsenal fan.

    1. Kolasinac plays very well on this formation…he Is great going foward and he grow up His game on this passionate games.
I dont undertand why the bashes on Leno…i think he had a great game and im not so sure about His responsability on the first goal…those headers on the first post to just change the way oficina the ball are difficult to the keeper.
Leno, guendouzi, torreira, sokratis…i think Sven did antes Spectacular job with the little money he got

    2. CG, Please scroll upwards and you will see my reply to kev , which states my position. You will see I have apologised for being wrong about our overall quality in comparison to Spurs today. I also respect you BTW and am always pleased and grateful when real fans, like you debate with me. It is the sole reason that I am on here. I send my congrats on CALLING IT RIGHT , I WAS WRONG AND DAMNED THRILLED TO BE SO TOO, I CAN TELL YOU. I do though still maintain the team has clear weaknesses, most of them in the defence and we lack a TRUE winger, as almost all say too. However, if you study countless local derbies , not just London ones -and as a long standing betting man I have always done so – you will notice that nearly all are won or at least drawn by the team with better quality. Other factors of course play a part and sometimes the lesser team wins. But not usually. In life decisions as also in football , being a realist, I carefully weigh the odds before making my call. I never let my heart rule my head, however tempting it is. That was my REAL point about being a REALIST, which I am.

  14. We just need a gud winger (iwobi is average or may be he needs some time ) and a creative attacking midfielder (ozils replacement) this January then I think top 4 finish and Europa cup is easily achievable.

    1. Iwobi missed a gilt edge chance again today and needs to work hard on his finishing. To be honest Aubameyang scored 2, but should have had a hat trick, missing an easier chance than he scored.

  15. I am so glad I was proved wrong! North London is red baby ????? I love you Arsenal, Auba, Laca, Torreira, Emery!!! Absolutely buzzing COYG…FOYS

  16. Juan went Foyth to give the gunners a resounding victory.
I have got to say I like the fight Emery has instilled into Arsenal – had it been Wenger and last season we would have lost.
A couple of top class defensive signings and a world class winger and Arsenal will be there about.
Torreira is a monster of a midfielder !
    19 games unbeaten.
Emery has really made a marvellous start at Arsenal !

    1. It’s not true that we would have lost if it was Wenger. Wenger also dominated spurs for over 18yrs and Arsenal also won this fixture 2-0 under Wenger.
Congratulations Gunners, congratulations Emery. What a game

  17. I really don’t know why mustafi gets all these negative comments…is he a WC player? Hell no…..is he prone to mistakes? Ofcus .. but this guy plays out is heart every day…and had a good game today…and having been more than decent all season

    1. Yes same they do with xhaka before every time we used to get bullied by our opponents (remember Costa) he today took the responsibility to punish some spud players and played like a captain. This character thing which we missed all these years is just priceless

      1. ?Xhaka has leadership ability (has captained previous teams) and is certainly no pushover. He adds a bit of mongrel.

    2. My thoughts Exactly. Everytime even when we play well he is singled out to me i find it strange but everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. He isn’t world class, he is prone to mistakes but he does his job. Plays his heart out but still gets a lot of hate.

      1. @Timmy. I agree with you that some fans hit our players all the time without appreciating their efforts. Lot of fans on this forum would have sold mustafi, Xaka, Ramsey, Elnaney, etc ect. But they are not coaches. Emery plays Xaka and Mustafi every game for a reason. He sees them as an integral part of the team. Ordinary fans would not understand but experts would.

  18. Best game of the year! Everyone played well its a total team effort. Thanks guys I didnt watch such a great Arsenal game in a long long while!

  19. Let’s all laugh at Tim Sherwood as well for insisting not a single Arsenal player would get into Sp*r’s XI.

    1. Not just Tim many many others said the same thing even Merson only had three of Arsenal in his best eleven line up and said he had to force himself, I herd somewhere that the bookies had Arsenal to win so well done to them, Merson being a betting man hope he lost a lot of money ?

      1. One issue bookies would have taken into account was Spurs hard Wednesday game against AC Milan. Spurs had to win, so played their first team.

  20. Mr Realist (Jon Fox). Shame on you xxnofx. Kev is the man. I read your comment to sue and the other at halftime when down by a goal. Some here seem to act wiser than they really are. COYG!

  21. After Arsenal players were proved,in the second half as gotanidea put it ”ANGRY COME BACK”…thank you Unai..Auba…Torriera….Laca

  22. Must admit at 2-2 I would have taken it. Not used to the fight we now have though but after today I’m totally convinced we’ve got our Arsenal back!

    1. Emery is increasing our standards again after we’ve been used to disappointment. We have drawn so many NLD’s at home that we forgot that we traditionally win them. Emery is reminding us that Arsenal is a big club in England and that we should be winning big games. COYG!

  23. we’re making manure transition phase a joke, 3 seasons,3 managers, hundreds of millions spent,I don,t care wharr people say but wenger kept to his word when he said that he would leave the club in a good shape and that with few more addition we would challenge again, while fergusson in his last season all he was thinking was to finish on a high why he bought that guy van pursie!forget the last few seasons despite 3 FA cups arsene loved arsenal and thiught of its future but also the next manager!having said that he shouldn’t have been involved in players contracts knowing he was going look at the savings we could have made wiith oxil anyway nothing can ruin today COYG!!

  24. Spuds might be one of the best teams in the EPL at the moment but having said that, they will never find a way of losing to arsenal.greay Job gunners ,I hope we will reap manure apart as this will boost our confidence

  25. U guys are all right with your comments. Kudos to the great Tactician “Unai”, I have confidence any time I sight this man in the dug out. up gooners world wide.

  26. What a performance, Emery was key to this and he gambled early and it paid off, we wanted it so badly and it showed, the Emirates was as loud as i ever heard it the fans where behind the team the whole 90 mins, it was just beautiful!

a couple of silly mistakes by inexperience from some players which is normal like the penalty, but the heart the passion the dedication that was given is all i could ask for from my beloved Arsenal!! i’ve got nothing bad to say about any player, i’m happy with every single one of them that’s how you play for your club and that’s how you win NLD 🙂 🙂 🙂

On top of the World!! COYG!

  27. I hate when fans criticise some players, bar few mistakes all the team contributed to the win even our subs, like unai says we need every player and they are important,I love this new found aggressiveness, tenacy, solidarity,I remember a time when one of our players got battered by opposing players or the ref got a decision wrong none of our players would do anything all this has changed and I,m loving it. COYG!#

  28. WHERE IS THE often mentioned SHIFT IN POWER now?
    Arsenal! Arsenal!! Arsenal!!! Arsenal!!!!
    COYG??

    ?❤???

  29. The Tank Kolasinac is returning to his best and Mustafi has a consistancy about him too. New DF Sokratis is tough as nails and Holding will grow into a fine player too. Shout out for these largely unsung arsenal hero’s and in the interest of fairness its a big thumbs up to the endeavors of Aaron who was instrumental in changing today’s crucial tie 🙂

I doubt there’s a single unhappy gooner today… just take another look at the epl table and know we’re well and truly on our grind and doesn’t it feel great?.

  30. Wooow!!! When I turned on the TV to watch this derby, I was scared that tottenshit would beat us cos it was their right, then I thought we were angry in the game when the arsenal players got into a mini squabble with those spurs players and also when Emery made the substitution… I’m short of words but arsenal made me proud I never expected them to win… Believe you me, with this kind of madness arsenal is on, we can beat any team blue black and silly well I guess Tottenshit will know better not to provoke a sleeping lion… Oooooooooooohhhh!!!!! I can imagine how Harry Kane is hurting today thinking he was going to do us as usual but he got beaten by a side that don’t care about who the *** they are… COYG!!! LETS GET THE NEXT GUYS… 19 GAMES UNBEATEN … This season has been a shock for me!! The improvement is so unreal plus ozil getting benched and Ramsey about to leave is sending a spine chilling message to everyone in the dressing room, this season has shocked me that no one is untouchable, as you must do your time or get benched

  31. I’m shocked !!! But yh we gave it to them !!! I never knew how well we’ve improved … I must say thumbs up to Emery who made this team become a driving force

  32. Kev, I must tell you this, your comments on this site annoys me and others here.
You feel you know better than anyone here.
Transfer your hatred for xhaka and mustafi into learning to appreciate the effort and opinions of others. Thanks.

  33. Can we just please sell Ozil, our best matches this season have been without Ozil,Fulham now the spuds,we may not have a “world class no10 today”but we have a team full of fighters

    1. Mesut Ozil is an important member of this team just like everyone else. They all have a role to play. On a day when we have won so emphatically if you choose to still be a crybaby then you are on your own. I am busy celebrating and have no further time for the likes of you.

  34. Unai emery on Ozil injury “When asked how he picked up the problem, the Arsenal boss said: “I don’t know.”

Pressed on whether Ozil was at the Emirates Stadium to watch the game, Emery replied: “I don’t know.” something is definitely wrong.

    1. Don’t worry… All we should think about is that we won, we are dangerous now than ever and we are on a hot madness winning streak so wouldn’t you prefer that ozil is benched and we go unbeaten in the season ? Let’s just enjoy ourselves and not worry, ozil matter will handle itself besides, nothing can be hidden from the fans for a long time

    2. He won’t be a starter anymore and Emery will find a replacement. Not worried because he’s highly inconsistent and doesn’t seem part of the managers plans anyways. For sure the “back spasms” is highly suspicious just like they were last season. Whenever a manager gets questioned about them they seem to have zero answers for what is going on or where Ozil even is. I’m tired of it and i’m sure many fans are as well. Let’s focus on the positive and the players who were there and got us this victory though!

  35. On way home from the game reading al the posts before during and after the match. Most memorable moment for me?Guendouzi running from the bench to help out Ramsey when Dire Dier thought he would take the piss after scoring. And this from a player who is surely the worst player EVER to pull on an England shirt.Memories of the Team Togetherness and Spirit of the George Graham years and the early Wenger teams.THAT is what a TEAM is all about.
Unai Emery is bringing something special to this football Club. The players WANT TO WIN FOR HIM.Believe me-when this Club gets in the players our Manager WANTS at the Club and NOT the players he inherited we could just have a Team to compete.

  36. The reason I don’t like visiting this site is that every time I read a good article I still have the bumb into trash comments
Made by one so called kev and Xxnofx there comments since I have known them here makes me sick to my stomach……
I would like to know which club u clones are managing

  37. Flipping great result! Over the moon!

I think this is my third ever comment in the three or so years I’ve been following this site but today seems like a pretty damn good occasion to join in with the festivities.

Torreira was, and I don’t throw this word around often, perfect for me today; he didn’t put a foot wrong the whole game and not just that but every other touch was oozing with class. What a finish at the end too. I wish we had two of him.

Xhaka and Kolasinac were solid – very good to see after some heart-stopping nonsense in previous games.

Bellerin, except for a disastrous pass in the second half, was very tidy; the boy is blossoming.

Centre halves are looking solid too. Socratis needs to chill with the wrestling but is looking like such a great signing.

Leno made his first major mistake but was otherwise class. Definite upgrade on Cech.

This will be controversial but I’d rather keep Ramsey and let Ozil go. Emery was brave to drop him but we’ve just looked better. He’s a luxury player who just doesn’t produce with anything approximating consistency. Keep Rambo and start bleeding the likes of Nelson, AMN and Willock into the first team.

Also, guys, this is a great day. This is not a time for argument. You may not have started it but you can be the one to stop it. So let’s all not let this day be spoiled. Arsenal are back boys!

    1. Sean agree with you on almost all what you said apart from Belerin who I thought constantly slowed our attack by back passing

      1. Bellerin.sure has some back pass habit but not so frequent as that of Mustafi. I actually enjoyed the game thou and I won’t go around criticizing one player or the other cos they did what was expected today and they did it as a team with style. I love this club

  38. ouch!!! missed it i had predicted a 4-1 score damn! kenya fans ripped roofs here with our arsenal is back bring on man useless

  39. After today’s game, I confirmed that Mike Dean hated Wenger, not Arsenal..
    Good win 2day… Ecstatic
    COYG… Unto the nxt game

  40. Lacasete and Ramsey changed the game, Ramsey one of his best game this season, I think he also did well d last Europa game. Great win. Well done all d players
