Arsenal v Sunderland team news – Few changes but Jeff to play?

Arsenal are going for a hat-trick of FA Cup wins and Arsene Wenger has assured the fans that he will be trying hard to get this amazing treble, but what team is he likely to pick to overcome Sunderland today?

If this was a League Cup match we would expect nearly the whole team to be changed (or a Champions League Group game lol!), but with the Gunners going for a historic treble Wenger has promised minimal rotation. “I’m not a big fan of rotating too much,” Le Prof said. “At the moment I make two or three changes maximum.”

Wenger has already announced that David Ospina will be in goal, so that doesn’t leave much room for blooding some youngsters in the big game. Wenger was specifically asked if he thought Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Alex Iwobi could be brought into the game. this afternoon. “When you can turn up when you have 60,000 people around you that is what is at stake,” he said. “Overall both of them can deal with that.

“I have young players who excite me very much in the academy, and [Reine-Adelaide] looks like he is ready physically to cope with the challenges and the intensity of them.

“He looks older, mature enough to cope with the physical challenges of the Premier League and he has the technique as well. What is exciting is that he can run with the ball, he can pass the ball, he can resist challenges and that is very interesting.”

So he doesn’t actually say that Jeff will play, but it seems likely that both of them will be on the bench at least.

So if Ospina plays, who do you think his other two changes will be?
