Arsenal v West Ham Review – Gunners come good after awful start

Arsenal were expected to go all out for Arsene Wenger today, but to be honest the first half was absolutely dire, although Koscielny came close in the 10th minute and Danny Welbeck came close halfway through the first half. Other than that little happened other than Xhaka getting his customary yellow card to put us in suspense and Elneny went off injured just before half time and AMN replaces him.

The second half was much more promising and it was a textbook Monreal goal from a Xhaka freekick, but the West Ham hitman Arnautovic equalized and it was time to get Iwobi off and put on PEA, but then Arsenal started playing and put immense pressure on the Hammers. Xhaka came close Welbeck came close, but as usual Arsenal startgoing for it in the last ten minutes.

Ramsey makes it 2-1 with 8 mins to go, then acazette lived up to the hype with two excellent goals before the end of the match. One assisted by Aubameyang, and in the last minute Ramsey finds the bottom corner to make it a great 4-1.

Game over and Arsenal have scored more than three in their last six home games. The first time since 1958…
