The summer transfer window for 2026 has just closed, but Arsenal already have their eyes on the next window and have identified Eli Junior Kroupi as one of the players they could sign, Football London reports.

The Frenchman was the best scoring teenager in the Premier League last season, enjoying a stunning run of form while playing for Bournemouth. His goals and overall performances almost helped the Cherries qualify for the Champions League, and they will play in the Europa League this season.

Kroupi is one of the finest young talents around, and Arsenal never want to miss an opportunity to sign a top player who can strengthen their squad. The Gunners have been monitoring his development and could make a move when the transfer window reopens.

Arsenal consider Kroupi move

The report says Arsenal will strengthen their squad in January after failing to replace Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli, with Kroupi among the players who could join them. His performances for Bournemouth have made him an attractive option for the Gunners.

The Frenchman has already demonstrated his ability to perform at a high level, and his goalscoring form has made him one of the most exciting young players in the Premier League. Arsenal could therefore see him as a player capable of adding quality to their attack.

Kroupi could attract competition

If Kroupi had not been injured, there is a good chance he could have left Bournemouth at the end of last season during the latest transfer window. His injury may have played a part in keeping him at the club, but Arsenal know they cannot afford to wait too long if they want to sign him.

The Gunners also understand that if they do not make a move for Kroupi, another club could step in and secure his signature. He is simply a fantastic player who has shown enough potential to suggest that he could rise to the very top.

Arsenal will therefore have to decide whether to pursue the Bournemouth star when the window opens. Kroupi’s performances have already attracted attention, and the Gunners could see him as an ideal addition to their squad.

  1. Eli Junior Kroupi is a very good player that’s still has a very high ceiling because of his age.
Arsenal should lay all the ground work now for the January transfer window, rather wait till January to start inquiring about him.

Even possibly bidding for him before the window actually opens. He’ll be a very good addition that has proven himself at high level.

  2. I really like Kroupi, he’s such a talent. Whenever I watch him play, he makes football look so easy, at the same time exciting to watch. Imo the exact profile player we should be looking at.

Yes LW is not his natural position, but I’ve seen him play that position before and he’s more than capable, and also young enough to learn more about the role.

However I also think it will depend on what the status is in January, If we have no injuries, and the team is gelling well, Arteta may not want to disrupt the rhythm.

  4. Kroupi makes far more sense than Alvarez. His PL numbers are great for his age, and looks like more to come. Exciting player, high ceiling, with so much ahead, easy decision really.

  5. I like Kroupi as much as anyone – but he isn’t coming in January.

He isn’t interested in a secondary role, and Bournemouth need him back for the league and Europe.

    1. I’ve also heard that he prefers PSG as his next destination. As a French player,it makes sense. With Dembele’s fitness issues,Kroupi would back himself to be a starter there.

  6. 0% of signing Kroupi in January. Haven’t you seen how Bournemouth are currently suffering from a lack of goal scorers as we saw them in those 2 games? They even may rush him to play soon.
Moreover Arteta suggested yesterday in relation to Vini and Alvarez he was not ready to pay higher fees and Bournemouth want to cash in by selling him to known payers
