Arsenal’s unwanted Wilshere set for Man United transfer?

If this happens it would be a massive Arsenal transfer story that would surely open a fierce debate among Arsenal fans and could end up with being yet another stick used to beat our under fire manager.

The Arsenal transfer rumours about Jack Wilshere and a possible move to play for our old rivals Manchester United are still in the embryonic stage, as reported by Metro, but with the Gunners already having more options in the central midfield area where Jack plays there is a good chance that his loan season at AFC Bournemouth is not going to be enough to earn him a return to play for his beloved Arsenal.

Wilshere would surely prefer to keep playing for Arsenal where he has been since being nine years old but if he is not wanted by Wenger then he will probably be looking for a big club in the Premier League, and according to one former player Mickey Gray he would be perfect for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.

The Old Trafford club could certainly do with adding some guile to their struggling midfield and I reckon that Mourinho would love the idea of taking one of Wenger’s former favourites and then making the Frenchman regret letting him go.

Could this transfer really be on the cards?

    Getting away from Arsenal has
    proved successful for Jack.
I hope he stays at Bournemouth
and keeps away from big clubs for a long time.

    1. Budd says:

How was that successful? One assist in 27 games is by no means a success story. He didn’t eben played lately when Bournemouth realized they are better with him on the bench. Wilshere needs to kickstart his career just like Arsenal need to reinvent themselves.
It is an end of an era, the divided fan base reminds me a lot of Brexit. It’s split down the middle. At this point it gets personal and I don’t want to get involved. I will simply watch what is going to happen.

      1. khangunners says:

Sad indeed. Even brexit was being opposed just like the wenger out. I love arsene wenger and when i say wenger out doesn’t mean i hate him. I love arsenal more. We really need a new manager with a brilliant idea to save us

  2. khangunners says:

Hahahahahaha man u are ready to splash 100m on a player and you think they will buy an arsenal reject get real man

  3. antonioro says:

Here we go again!Subject(like always)-Wilshere.Why you still worship this guy for Christ sake? What is so special with this mediocre player that you see and others don’t?This guy can’t even make it in Bournemouth team, they play better without him.We have enough deadwoods in Arsenal team(all overpaid)-don’t need another one.MU to buy him?Hard to believe, but if is it true, get the money and run fast, don’t liok back.Add Ramsey on the package, for free, just to sweeten the deal! Please, from now on don’t even remember Wilshere name,we have a lot bigger problems. He is excactly where he supposed to be-in a low team.As a reserve,on the bench,he’s not even good enough for them.Time to get rid of the mediocrity in Arsenal team. All the “British core” must go,and fast.Let Wilshere become other team’svproblem,we have our own.

  4. Bolly from Borehamwood says:

Hmmm, someone else shouting for the British core to go but if you mention French, African or even Italian core there would be outrage at the racist comment! By the way, “deadwoods” is not a word. Whereas “deadwood” is both singular and plural so please drop the ‘s’.
    English lesson over, ttfn.

    1. stubill says:

Well said Bolly. I’m sick of hearing people mouthing off about the British core. If you don’t like it, don’t support an ENGLISH team.

    2. antonioro says:

Even if English is not my primary language,I know for sure that plural for “deadwood” is “deadwoodS”-yes,it is a plural for this word, back to school again, pal.

  5. mark says:

I wouldn’t be sorry to see the over hyped Wilshere go. Like Walcott, he is decent on his day, but erratic and in the case of Wilshere severely injury prone.

Sell sell sell, and take Walcott with you.

Walcott yesterday was like a centre forward playing on the wing. No runs, just one touch and someone else can have the ball. I thought he was supposed to be our speedy winger?

They all need a good kick up the backside, but first get the out of date Wenger out please.
