Arsene, Arsenal fans are tired of you blaming everyone else……

If Arsene continues to blame everything else, nobody will take him seriously. by Konstantin Mitov

Hello guys. I’m sick and tired of talking about Arsene, I really am. I used to watch every Arsenal interview after the games, but now when Wenger speaks I prefer not to bother myself with it too much, but the absurdity of his comments never fails to amaze.

It’s almost a week later and Arsene is still speaking of the Champions league. He said this ‘For example, I watched the last 20 minutes of PSG v Barca again. It’s interesting when you see all the conclusions that came out of the game. And the same people who spoke after the game said with 10 minutes to go that PSG was absolutely outstanding. Ten minutes later, they’re absolutely rubbish’.

Now Arsene called to be judged at the end of the season quite a few times I recall. It’s funny, because an elimination tie in the champions league is 180 minutes and if at 170 you’re through, and at 180 you are out, conceding 3 goals, people will judge you poorly. We played two decent first halves again Bayern, but all people will remember is 10-2 on aggregate. It’s just that Arsene is doing whatever it takes to take the issue away from the fact it’s his fault for that.

I reckon he is just deluded and really believes that, or he’s doing a very good job of deflecting all the negativity and hiding the terrible job the board and the players did, because they should take part of the blame too. Or maybe it’s quite a bit of both. The problem is that when you keep disagreeing with everyone, you’re either a genius who saw something before it’s about to happen, or you are living your own world. With Arsene it’s the latter sadly.

Otherwise he would’ve delivered, he would’ve put a proper challenger for the title or the title itself. He failed over 12 years and I would divide Arsenal’s squads over that period of time into 3 major eras starting with the squad after Henry left, the last of the players with a winning mentality at Arsenal. I refer to the team of Fabregas, Nasri, Van Persie, Song, Clichy, Sagna and so on.

After it, the second era would be the squad after Fabregas and Nasri left, featuring the likes of Giroud, Santi Cazorla, Podolski, Gervinho and so on. And the third era is the one of Ozil, Cech and Sanchez. Now there have been some constants like Kos, Gibbs, Theo and maybe somebody else I am missing, but the one major constant around all of them is Arsene.

We changed the major stakeholder, we even changed the assistant manager. It doesn’t make much of a difference. We survived so many years in the top 4, but we never delivered a major trophy, neither was there too much competition. Now there are 6 clubs who are doing all their best to get to the top 4 and we’re struggling. I remember seasons where Arsene sacked the FA cup and the EFL cup, because he wanted the bigger trophies, yet he never got them.

The FA cup is nice, but truth is when the season starts the big teams look at the big prizes and the cup ain’t one of them. Now it’s become Wenger’s saving grace as he seeks more excuses as to why aren’t we doing what a top club does. If football clubs were castles, ours would be made of fog walls. On the surface we look all flashy and big, just like any other top teams fortress would, but punch it and you will go right through it.

After a long and patient wait, people have come to realise this and it could reach the point of no return. Twelve years we’ve been hearing all sorts of excuses and for quite a while people believed them, but repetitive failure is taking it’s slow toe on things and when Arsene signs that extension it will be a major breaking point.

The brainwashed fans, the terrible referees and those bad pundits who are all so at fault for our failure will only get bigger and stronger and rightly so, because Arsene will prove next year again he’s a bad manager. It’s really sad to hear that a plane could fly over the Hawthorns with a no new contract sign attached to it. It’s lowering Arsene to the level of David Moyes and I don’t think that after the patient old Arsenal fan has come to this, it could ever improve.

A lot of people want Arsene gone, just for the sake of change and feeling some passion for something unpredictable again! This is like the relationship you’re staying in just because, you’ve stayed in it too long. You’re afraid to let go, but you know happiness lies somewhere else for you and the other person and with time passing by it’s only getting worse.

The extension will be signed, but once the love is gone it’s only a matter of time until things fall apart. The fans have grown accustomed to failure 8-2 at Old Trafford, 6-0 at the Bridge, 10-2 on aggregate against Bayern. From now on it’s only getting worse for Arsene. I hope he can understand that.

  1. 47 clubs have played EPL football.
Only SIX have won the title.
    Manchester United (13)
    Chelsea (4) Arsenal (3) Manchester City (2)
Blackburn Rovers (1) Leicester City (1).

Some teams have waited a wee while since their last title win.
    Liverpool 27 years
    Everton 30
    Villa 36
    Spurs 56
    Burnley 57
    Sheff Wed 87
    Newcastle 90
    WestBrom 97
    Sheffield United 119.
Then there are the 100+ clubs who have never won the title.
It could be worse for the Gunners 🙂

    1. so is that good enough reason to back up or console our endless failures…typical wenger comment from you mate…

  2. Had enough of Bayern, well, Arsenal want another piece in preseason.

Arsenal chasing Kante alternative, That Gueye.

      1. Last season every chart Kante topped, Gueye was always second, right behind him.

Can’t believe no one else than Everton went for him.

          1. Guys football is now a network. All over the world there are gems just waiting to be found. The real issue is that arsene has been given alot of power and this causes him to abuse it and he thinks in one way(he will sign players that he needs rather than what the team needs).
Thats why there is someone in all top clubs whose main job is to deal with transfers. I think we can get a very good dm its not like idrissa or kante ar the only option

            1. Have a look at Ivan Gazidis.
He took over a lot of Deins roles.
Dein use to do the transfers before he was forced out of the club by the previous share holders after he wanted to invest in the club while we was going through the stadium move.

Have a look how our board promised us fans that they wouldn’t sell to a majority share holder, only for that promise to be broken when enough cash was offered by someone they found…

Then look at the short period of time before Gazidis arrived but after Dein left.

Then there was the incident when Gazidis indicated that Wenger had no clue on a players value, prior to Gazidis Arsenal did not fail in a primary transfer target because of a couple million… Look at Nasri when he joined, how he signed a contract extension to get Arsenal to pay more and WENGER PAID IT.

Have a look at Cazorla since Gazidis arrived, we missed out on him for 12 months because we missed out by a couple million!

  3. Football is a results business. The real tragedy here is that AW is destroying any legacy he had left with his own self denial, or delusion of you prefer.

Given that most other managers are judged on their recent results, it’s only fair that he is too, but it seems that he is held up as some kind of footballing guru for his past legacy.

I honestly believe that AW has lost his touch. The modern game relies on sharp tactics and strong players, both of which we seem to be lacking.

He seems to be in denial, and so the saga continues. Until HE believes he is not the best person to run the club, we are stuck with him.

  4. Wenger takes the Apex bLame!
    .
I used to think Randy Orton was the Apex predator……… Rather, Wenger is!

  5. We have become like a broken old record making the same noise over and over again,

we need to know if we are a big club or not?

we are getting confusing massages from the board, one minute we are a big club and can rival any club in Europe with salaries and buying, then immediately after Arsen says we don’t have the same finances as big clubs,

they are playing mind flucking with us and that is why Arsenal fans are split confused and frustrated and AW is playing their game, his fast becoming dishonest when he says he loves Arsenal Bull Shi7

its time for more transparency and honesty from our board and Mr Wanger

  6. such a coward wenger is…parents teach their kids to own up to their mistakes and show commitment…but wenger’s case is the opposite…what a pity

  7. Win the title, the CL would be great, when you are a Fan of the fifth richest team in the world that should be a true possibility dream greatness…..instead most of us we would settle to at least give more of a fight……everyone remembers PSG as the looming side of the biggest comeback in history…..but when they played home they made their Fans dream playing beautiful football and trashing Barcelona….with Wenger we come to expect every year the same, no dreaming just the same script…… we are not winning the FA Cup just look at who we are going against….regadless the man will stay and we well another 2 years of more of the same, except that once again we lost our best player

  8. We are extremely tired…it’s not because you’ve been in the job for 20 odd years at Arsenal and more if we add up the the years outside that you know more on everything.
YES sometimes an injury or the referee is at fault but not all the time. Not to the point that every time it happens we crumble and end up losing badly. And what I mean is that either it reflects on the pitch or on the scoreboard.
But more than that at this point we should know how to play and keep our tactical shape when almost any of our players come off injured. Same for the referee decisions that do not go our way we should be able to play under such settings and get something if not a win, pride.

We’re tired of the blame others culture: the referee, the pitch, the packed schedule, the injuries. We would appreciate you coming out at times and say things like:
    -“we played poorly”
-“we had a plan but didn’t execute”
-“regardless of any wrongdoing we should not have lost by such a margin”
-“I and the players are owning this and will take responsability for it”
-“sorry to the fans who came”…and I could keep going

That is what we would like to hear at times…because that is exactly what happens

  9. “I’m sick and tired of talking about Arsene, I really am.” – and do you have any idea, Konstantin, how tired WE are of hearing you talk about Arsene all the time? You talk about broken records, yet YOU yourself are the biggest broken record of them all. You contradict yourself so much it’s become the biggest joke of JustArsenal. You claim you stopped listening to Wenger’s pre and post game press conferences, yet you know exactly what he said, and then make some absurd comments about Arsene’s absurd comments. So who’s more absurd and deluded? Wenger or You? Sadly for you, I think it’s the latter. I even use your own words here. So my advice to you, Konstantin, will be once again to go away and stop watching Arsenal games until Wenger decides to step down. He said himself that he’s a masochist. But I think you’re even a bigger one than he is. You’re not doing yourself any favors, and you’re certainly not doing any favors to us by putting your crazy thoughts out there. Take a break, enjoy life a little. There’s more to it than just football, Arsenal, and Arsene.

    1. gud point. However id rather hear konstantins broken record than wenger’s, for a few reasons
      1. konstantin hasn’t been going at it for 13yrs now
      2. konstantin doesn’t get paid 8-9m a year, so he’s allowed to be broken all day
      3. konstankonstantin isn’t paid to fix the club
      many more
