Arsene Wenger to land dream job in France?

Arsene Wenger is hoping to add the Europa League trophy to his haul of winners medals that he has won with Arsenal before he leaves the Emirates at the end of the season, and it would be fantastic way to finish his 22 year career with the Gunners and gain the Guners a back door entry into the Champions League.

But going on what Wenger said last month, he has no intention of retiring from football. He said: “Yes, of course [I want to manage after Arsenal], as long as I have the physical strength and the desire to do it,”

“I know that depends on my physical status and how well I am mentally.

“It’s a decision I’ll have to make at some stage.

“At the moment I live in the present and I just want to do as well as I can for my club and I don’t worry too much what happens to me.”

Well the end came quicker than he thought and he will once again be a free agent, and the obvious job next for him would be to move back to France and manage one of the richest clubs in the world, Paris St Germain. Wenger has always had a good relationship with the French Champions and, more importantly with the Qatari owners as well, so it is no surprise that L’Equipe insist that Wenger would be the perfect replacement for PSG this summer if the Parisians dismiss current boss Unai Emery, and Emery himself is backing Wenger to be his replacement.

The Spaniard said yesterday: “He is a reference for the world of football and us coaches. He has given inspiration to this sport,” he told a news conference.

“Every year, a dozen coaches meet in Nyon and Wenger is a reference for all of us. He has always spoken well of me.

“I have great admiration for him as a person and as a coach. He has the quality and the experience to coach the best teams in the world, like PSG.”

In Paris Wenger would be given every resource to try and take him to the Champions League Final, which is another trophy that has eluded him in his long career. Wouldn’t it be great if Arsenal gets the Gunners into the Champions League this season, and then plays against them in next year’s competition?

  1. I bet most big football clubs want to take a legendary manager, as a prestige in their history

PSG’s owner denied Tuchel rumors and insisted on keeping Unai Emery, but Ornstein leaked different news. If PSG do not hire Wenger, I guess Real Madrid and Barcelona would want the legendary Arsene Wenger to replace their current manager

  2. All the best to him whatever he does and wherever he goes.

But he is still with us until May so let’s try to give him a big send off with a European trophy and open top bus parade. I believe we can do it. We are just 3 matches away.

  3. He is a legend here. But where ever he goes is not a problem to me. Am only happy that we are going to start afresh from the drift of the past 2 years.

  4. Let him go ANYWHERE as long as he is not offered a job UPSTAIRS at Arsenal. We wanted him gone so let’s just make sure he is GONE

  5. @phil let Wenger get any job he gets even within the club for he can be a reliable resource given the enormous work he has done to the club. The current situation can not make him the enemy of the club or mercenary.
