As if Arsenal would sell Alexis to Man United! Pull the other one!

Okay I am writing this post under pressure because it was mentioned in a comment by Fatboy, but the fact is that this is probably just the start of the silly-transfer-story season, so we can expect a few more of these up to the New Year and beyond.

Soooo, apparently the Man United manager Louis van Gaal has been talking to Alexis Sanchez about taking him to Old Trafford to make him his main man. Oh I can’t do this. Instead I’ll give you a summary from a Man United website, and they don’t seem to put much faith in this rumour either.

We all remember when Alex Ferguson shocked the football world by pinching Arsenal’s top scorer Robin Van Persie and went on to win the Premiership very easily with RvP scoring most of Man United’s crucial goals.

Well now it seems that Louis Van Gaal is also keen on poaching Arsenal’s current best player, the brilliant striker Alexis Sanchez. The Star is even going so far as to report that the Red Devils manager has already approached the Chilean and has promised to make him “the cornerstone” of his team.

I would imagine it is very unlikely that Alexis would make the move up North, with recent reports saying that the Gunners are preparing him a new contract with a generous pay rise. Since joining Arsenal Sanchez has already won the FA Cup, and subsequently claimed the Copa America with Chile. If Arsenal continue to pick up trophies he is very unlikely to force through a move away from the Emirates.

It sounds like a great idea, but do you think Van Gaal really could persuade Arsene Wenger to let his best player come to Old Trafford? Again!

Well that says it all. Wenger has constantly said that we are no longer a selling club, and that especially applies to Man United after the van Persie fiasco. Secondly, why would Sanchez was to go to a team that we have already massacred just a few weeks ago?

Mind you if Van Gaal put in a 50 million offer for Sanogo and Debuchy he may have a chance lol!

Well done, you were as quick as Bellerin with that Article!

  2. Special congrats to our young speedster hector bellerin on being voted young catalan player of the year! Well done HB 24!

  3. Why would Sanchez go to utd?
Maybe a small matter of £250,000 aweek might persuade him! ?

I’m sure that he will adapt well to the chips with mushy peas and gravy up north! ?
Money talks and bull ? walks!

Talking of money talks, what happened to him?
Is he now posting as.. listen baby please? ?

  4. Man united with what balls do they come here looking for one of Arsenal’s players and why don’t they raid Hazard who is probably at the lowest market value now where if they can spend 50 million on Martial then you can certainly do it for Hazard. Arsene Wenger has publicly promised he won’t sell his best to premier league rivals so i think Louis needs to go and buy Gareth or somebody that feed his philosophy.

  5. Man U & Man C could lure Alexis to Old Trafford or to the Etihad if they want. Because as we all know, those 2 clubs have the cash more than Arsenal to tempt Sanchez away for the Emirates Stadium if they so wish to do so possibly in the January transfer window. Would Alexis turn down a £250K per week if he is offered? I can’t answer that question for him. But he looked not to be a money monger when Liverpool offered him a better pay packet than Arsenal did, which he refused to accept. Subversion Theory! Are Man Utd trying to take away Alexis from us to stop us winning the League title as Arsenal are looking capable more than ever to mount a successful title bid this season?

  6. And now Benzema is very keen on coming to Arsenal! ?
I wonder what made that CLOWN change his mind? ?

  7. The Alexis that scored twice against United is not available at any price

The Alexis that kept losing balls against Spurs, is available for £35M and 9p 🙂

  8. Listen baby please

This international break has come at a great time.

Our injured warriors will have time to heal and recuperate before the season continues.

I’m hoping we can get OX, Walcott, Ramsey, Ospina and Bellerin back after the break. And Wilshere, Welbeck and Rosicky by January

I hope Ozil is getting plenty of rest and just doing some weight training and some cardio to stay in shape
This rest period for Ozil is very welcome and hopefully he will be recharged and ready to go.

As for this article, the days of selling our best players to rivals ie Van Payslip, Cashley Cole, Nasri, Toure, etc has gone.

    ALEXIS IS HERE TO STAY.
