‘At the moment’ Romano delivers more bad news to Arsenal on Vlahovic

Fabrizio Romano claims Dusan Vlahovic has no interest in a move to Arsenal at the moment.

The Serbian striker is one of Mikel Arteta’s transfer targets as the Spaniard looks to bolster his playing squad.

Several top European clubs are also pursuing his signature, and that means the Fiorentina man is spoilt for choice at the moment.

That wouldn’t stop Arsenal from pursuing their interest in him, but they might not be successful.

Transfer insider, Romano delivered an update on Arsenal’s pursuit of his signature recently. It wasn’t positive.

‘Arsenal are more than interested, they approached Fiorentina two weeks ago about the price and everything but the player is not interested,’ he said on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE.

‘I’m told that his agents are not answering Arsenal’s calls.

‘He doesn’t want to answer to Arsenal at the moment.’

Just Arsenal Opinion

Arsenal needs to know their position on Vlahovic sooner, so they can turn their attention towards other transfer targets.

The Serbian is understandably one of the best strikers on the market, but if he doesn’t want to move to the Emirates, Arsenal has to move on to other strikers on their wishlist.

The club must not obsess over having him in their squad for too long, because that could see them miss out on a suitable alternative.

  1. Why waste time and energy on someone who has his heart elsewhere? Arsenal should forget Vlahovic and work on getting one of these three strikers Alexander Isak, Ollie Watkins or Karim Adeyemi, in the January transfer window.

  2. Once upon a time, the only quality players who would dare not subscribe to a move to the Emirates when Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal came calling were those playing in rival clubs or bigger clubs. Our only downside then was that we didn’t pay as much for players as other clubs. Even Mbappe admitted that he gave a though to it when Arsenal came calling just before he decided to sign for PSG(obviously due to their French status and unrestrained spending power). Now, before our very eyes, the likes of Locatelli and now Vlahovic, players who are nowhere close to what we’ve produced in times past will not even “pick up the phone”, even with all our money. How have the mighty fallen

  3. there are a lot of good players out there, talents all over South America and Portugal 🇵🇹, even in the EPL,

Whatever CF we get, it would be nice to see Martinelli play alongside, the boy is a star 💫 waiting to shine.
