Atletico Madrid have agreed not to sell Julian Alvarez to Arsenal or any other club this summer, despite the Gunners continuing to push to add him to their squad.

Although Alvarez wants a move, Atletico Madrid expect him to accept their decision and get down to business while working as hard as he can to have a good season.
For Arsenal, the decision means their pursuit of Alvarez will not result in a transfer this summer. The Gunners must therefore accept Atletico Madrid’s position and look elsewhere if they want to strengthen their squad with another attacker.
Alvarez will remain with Atletico Madrid for the coming season, despite interest from Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona. The club have collectively decided that retaining him is the preferred course of action, leaving the interested clubs without an opportunity to complete a deal this summer.

Personally I DON’T see why Arsenal is even bothering to pursue a player, in Julian Alvarez, who isn’t intent in playing for us, (Arsenal). WHY BOTHER, REALLY?
The sooner we forget about him and move on, the better for everyone. Because if we force this move and he ends up at Arsenal, we’ll probably regret all the wasted effort, as I’m sure he won’t deliver much as his heart is ONLY at Barcelona.
We should ONLY go for players that WANT to come to Arsenal. ONLY.
I would like Arsenal to keep Ethan Nwaneri. Probably send him on another loan, maybe at Como. The coach there would help mould him into a player we expect him to be, with all the talents Ethan possesses.
If William Saliba was allowed to leave twice on loan, for full seasons, why can’t we do the same with our very gifted home grown players?
If we get rid of Ethan Nwaneri now, we’ll probably live to regret it.
I personally like Gabriel Martinelli and would like us to give him another season before finally deciding to sell him.
Probably him knowing that his race is almost ran at Arsenal, might help elevate him to another level. I know he’s got talent, but he lacks consistency.
Selling Lewis-Skelly just to balance the books, will be suicidal. There are fringe players like Reiss Nelson, Fabio Viera etc.., that we should try to move on, rather than sell very young, gifted home grown players.
We’ve spent too much time his summer chasing players who were just not realistic enough. It’s great to see us with such ambition, but the reality has to be acknowledged and I hope Aresenal as a club move swiftly to get what we have as a squad working together. Gyokares is a great player and has done quite well in fairness. But as a striker he needs to be finding the net more often. We need to give him another season with the fans backing and full support. He may just surprise us all? I certainly hope so!
