Berta did very well with 8 signings.
5 backup players and 3 starters.
The squad is pretty much set with some nice quality players.
Let’s just hope and pray not to have too many outrageous injuries and have a fully fit squad for most part of the season.
I have zero complaints about the job Berta did. He took his time and proper research, and addressed the needs in our squad.
It appears he works well with Arteta, and brought in some players Arteta wanted. Also, to snag Mosquera for 13 million + add-ons is looking like the transfer of the Summer. If Mosquera can maintain this level, I am for building Berta a statue from this window alone.
Hincapie addition was just a flex by Berta; not a necessity, but boy does he improve our depth and quality.
If Berta could manage the first team as well, he would be our golden goose. Relax people, just tongue in cheek, I’m not “Arteta Out,” not until late Spring can we honestly judge our results.
