I am really hoping that me last post hasn’t jinxed the Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez, as it now seems certain that he will be playing for Chile tomorrow night as his coach Juan Antonio Pizzi has made it clear that he is fit and ready to play…
‘Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal & Claudio Bravo are available for tomorrow’s game against Uruguay,’ Pizzi said today. “Sanchez is one hundred percent. He’s trained well.
‘At no time we have received pressure from any club. Not Arsenal or Bayern.
‘The health of the players is paramount, we are very responsible.
‘We do not risk to anyone who is not in a position to play.’
Uh Oh. Please let him not have a relapse tomorrow……
I have a feeling that Wenger will be staying up late to watch that game just to see how Sanchez is running and performing. I can just see him with his head in his hands (and his heart in his mouth) all the way through the whole 90 minutes if Alexis stays on the field.
Poor Arsene!

If he’s 100% fit, then why was he training with a bandage on his leg?
I think that Pizzi geezer is just winding us all up.
If Sanchez comes back injured there will be hell to pay!
Maybe we are all just over-reacting. The Chile team have just as many qualified medical men as Arsenal do.
If they say he is okay then he probably is. Why put their reputation at stake?
good news if true.
He and ozil are our only world class players and we cant afford to have them missing for manure
Cech isn’t world class?
Cazorla isn’t world class?
The Boss isn’t world class?
What you smok’n mate?
There’s still lots of interboring games to go. we may still get some real injurues yet
I doubt he`s 100%. The Chile coach is just desperate for a win.
Regardless of Sanchez’s level of fitness, I find it highly unlikely that Sanchez will be available for the early kick off at Old Trafford (especially with a 15 hour long haul flight back and very little chance to rest). Can you imagine the amount of abuse Wenger would get if he played Sanchez and he pulled a muscle? On the positive side all things considered, I think we should have enough to get a win at Old Trafford without Sanchez.
fact is Arsenal can’t beat United at OT if Giroud starts upfront.
