Arsenal target Denis Zakaria will not be going anywhere in January declares his agent.
Arsenal will have to wait beyond the next transfer window if they want to secure the signature of Borussia Monchengladbach star, Denis Zakaria according to his agent.
The midfielder has been in fine form since the start of this season and he has helped his side to stay top of the Bundesliga table ahead of the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
He has been tracked by a host of top clubs this season and Arsenal have been hoping to sign him in the next transfer window.
However, it is being reported that he won’t be leaving the Germans this winter according to his agent.
“Denis will not leave Borussia in the winter, a change is 100 per cent excluded,” Mathieu Beda told Sport BILD, as cited by Goal.
“Denis is in very good shape in Gladbach and has been playing really well for weeks, but he still has more potential and he wants to show that in Gladbach now instead of dealing with a change.”
22 years old Zakaria has also attracted the interest of Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Dortmund claims the same report.
Arsenal has had to freeze out Granit Xhaka after his problems with the club’s fans, while Lucas Torreira is unsettled and Dani Ceballos has been sidelined by an injury.
The Gunners know they have to strengthen their squad if they want to make a late attempt to finish inside the top four.
