The law of average dictates any time now that horror record will come to an end
You and your “law of averages”. Look on Wikipedia and you’ll see that you’re wrong each time you quote it.

Rather than relying on the “law of averages” it’s about time we relied not upon “Luck” but rather on [cause and effect];
Only having added quality recruits to the side – as we have – we’ll likely ’cause’ a more favorable outcome than is shown to be a norm. We’ll face Bayern Munich with a full complement of quality options not just a thread-bare-eleven that ebbs and disappoints or easily runs out of steam.
Hate to say it but *Bayern Munich have shown to be better than us in european competition which is something we are close to bringing to an end. I do hope.
A single goal settled it last time in favor of Bayern but we are likely to be much better equipped the next time we meet. Even if we succeed beating them in this UCL tie at the Emirates its not inconceivable that we might have to meet a second time and do it again – much like we played PSG (twice).
To assert ourselves in European Competition id not be convinced that we’re better than Bayern until we can beat them twice in succession the same with Liverpool FC – to better this club we need to humble them at home and away for all others to view us having really turned a corner, really stepped up our game so as to be viewed as “…equals to both these trophy laden clubs”.
