Cazorla snubs La Liga transfer to WIN Premier League with Arsenal

Arsenal fans may have been feeling a bit nervous recently about Arsene Wenger´s ability to hold on to our Spain international star Santi Cazorla, with many Arsenal transfer rumours suggesting that the little magician could be tempted to head back to Spain and La Liga with strong interest from big clubs like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

Guillem Balague may not know as much as he thinks concerning Spanish football and Spanish players (he would know everything if that was the case) but he is usually pretty well versed in what is going on. And according to his Sky Sports report the main thing that Wenger needs to do to keep hold of our talented and two footed Spaniard is to prove to him that the Gunners do have a realistic chance of becoming champions of England again.

So if the Metro report claiming that Cazorla has made it clear to his suitors from Spain that he will not be joining them anytime soon is true, the Arsenal’s brilliant run of results and form in the Premier League have got Cazorla believing in our title credentials.

So now might be a good time for the boss to get the player to sign an extension to his current contract- which apparently is about to enter its final year. There are plenty of good years left in Santi and we need to make sure that Arsenal get them. And as the report claims that he loves Arsenal, why not?

  1. I call shiiiite on this “news” Cazorla nor his agent ever said anything about moving.
    Transfer fanstasy ; click bait.

  2. Cazorla looks a player who is truly enjoying his football at the moment. I personally, don’t think he’s a player who will retire at the club. But I don’t think he’ll leave until we win the PL title like we will in one of the coming seasons.
The relationships between Ozil, Cazorla, Ramsey, Sanchez and Giroud is going from strength to strength. It seems the more they play together the better they are all becoming.
My only criticism is the constant changes on the right. We saw in previous seasons how effective the Theo and Sagna partnership was and Monreal and Sanchez have been class. Debuchy or Bellerin needs a solid partner to develop a partnership with. I just personally don’t know who it would be, too many options… (Ox, Theo, Welbeck, Wilshere, Gnabry and Ramsey all bring different personalities and traits)

  3. Next season should be Carzola final season…hes ageing and needs to be replaced by someone younger

  4. If we lose to Chelsea
    Cazorla will go. 13 points
behind with 5 to play is not
a good look. But if Arsenal
    win then he will stay.

    1. It would look terrible all right but at end of day or season so far as it may.. che have only lost two. I had these fears when mour returned because back then it was a similar scenario between ourselves utd and che for a time. Lets hope we can get that invincibility back, or something resembling.

  5. Thumbs up for Santi Cazorla. First, money can’t buy happiness. Second, he believe we can win the title. That’s all said.
His duet with Coq are integral element of Arsenal genuine attacking football style today. However, if we want to preserve our current salivating football we should have 2 more players who have those two character. Not as replacement for Santi but as successor. So, it’s not coincident if Arsene is eyeing ILKAY GUNDOGAN. He’s Dortmund’s Cazorla. He’s the one we should buy this summer plus one CDM who has Coquelin DNA on his style of play. Since, le Coq is the best CDM in EPL, I move my interest abroad, KONDOGBIA might just got the answer.
