CONFIRMED Arsenal line-up to face Bournemouth – Ozil and Alexis out

So the big news for today’s Arsenal team set to face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium is that Alexis Sanchez has sensationally been left out of the team, making it now nearly certain that the rumours of him leaving are likely to be true if Wenger can get his replacement in this month.

And even worse is the fact that Ozil’s knee has not recovered yet either, so we are very weakened right now. Monreal and Koscielny are both out injured so we have our “defence of the future” on show again, and we will also see how the twam will look when both our superstars leave…

So here is the team I predict without Ozil or Alexis

Holding Mustafi Chambers
Bellerin Xhaka Ramsey Maitland-Niles
Wilshere Iwobi

And here is the official line-up…

Surprisingly Wilshere has kept Ramsey out of the midfield, with the Welshman on the bench, and Welbeck comes in nstad. The Gunners are without a win in our last four games (D3L1) so we desperately need to get back to winning ways, but is this team goo enough?

  1. stubill says:

Iwobi and Welbeck starting, God help us.

  2. muffdiver says:

if we dont win today it will be first time since 90’s we have 5 games without a win
sanchez leaving for our abuser mourinho
    europa league selling club 🙁

lacazette scoring and a win please

    1. kev says:

Patience there. There’s still some twist in this thing.
JUST IN:As I said some days ago that Sanchez has told City he’s willing to stay earn sign for them so he can earn more money(£17.5m) a year.In fact he already has a gentleman’s agreement with Pep Guardiola.
Utd have now come with an offer of £350,000 a week which is an irresistible offer.UTD want to hijack City’s move by offering him more money. This is actually turning Sanchez’s bead at the moment.
I know you guys know of Utd interest but I had to tell you why he’s considering them.

  3. TheArsenalWay says:

This club is the biggest joke! The fans that do not realise this, are in my opinion, just as much to blame as those sitting up top.

Wake up and smell the coffee, we will be selling our best player in January to one of our rival clubs.

I’ve never been more embarrassed of Arsene and the club!

    1. TheArsenalWay says:

Those that ‘thumbed downed’ my comment, please enlighten me as to why you did that? I would love to know why you are okay with Sanchez leaving the club mid way throughout the season?

I would also like to know how you can still support a manager that has allowed this to happen?

      1. Break-on-through says:

I didn’t thumb you down but I seen people say ..get Alexis out the door now and some wanted it in summer because they realize he’s joining a rival whether we like it or not. We had a small window to get Alexis signed maybe his second season with us we could have done it but we reached a point where Alexis turned his back on the idea of sticking round. Some fans love Arsenal too much to see a player here who acts like this and throws fits when things are falling apart, instead of trying to pull the lads together he can alienate even if they are teenage. Alexis is a great great player but it’s Ozil who has the class.

        1. TheArsenalWay says:

Could not agree more on Ozil being the more classier guy. However, that is a whole other topic.

My issue is with the management of the club, which in my opinion is appalling. No other club would allow their best player’s contracts run down to the final year! We should own the player, telling him to sign or leave for another club in another country not the other way around. Sanchez has the club where he wants them, he can do whatever he wants and we can’t do anything about it. A single player has made the whole management staff look like amateurs.

    2. Dee23 says:

I don’t think the fans can be blamed for where we are. Our decisions have no power. I think this was proved last season with all of our protesting, walk outs, banners and rants. All our Wenger out shouts were without effect. The guy was offered a contract extension by the board despite failing to get us in the top 4 and will probably get another extension when his current contract is close to finishing. The problem and power is much higher than the fans. The board. Kroenke in particular. His goals and targets have never been ambitious. He was always content with a top 4 finish and making profit so he can use the money he makes from Arsenal to put towards other businesses and projects. Other teams have strengthened making it harder for us to comfortably finish top 4 but Stan is still reluctant to spend and do what needs to be done to change our situation.

  4. Sue says:

That’s us f****d then. Bye Sanchez

  5. Maks says:

Bye bye Alexis… if they sell him to ManUtd I hope fans will dethrone Wenger, not the Board.

    1. kev says:

City’s bid is not even up to£30m.Unitedare offering him more money which is turning Sanchez’s head. This is all money influenced.Besides it’s the same Van Persie situation anyway. If people really analyzed it’s better he goes to Mourinho than Guardiola. There’s no way their finishing above City next season.

      1. Maks says:

You think we will compete for the title next season so its better to weaken ManCity and boost manUtd??
I dnt see logic in that, and I dnt want exArsenal players play for manUtd ever again.
        rvp was enough.

    2. Dee23 says:

Yeah! Coz that worked last Season.Lol. People talk about deluded fans. The only thing delusional about fans are when they think they can get Wenger out and “dethrone him”. The only person who will make Wenger walk is Wenger. The board are the ones offering him new contracts. He doesn’t want to walk away so he accepts them. Finishing 5th didn’t make him leave last season. It wouldn’t make him leave if we fail to finish 4th again this season either.

  6. Vijay says:

Well that’s sanchez to Man UTD confirmed then.
    F**k u Arsene F*************************************************k you!!!!!!!!!

    1. Maks says:

Hope you are wrong. I think we agree on that 🙂

    2. kev says:

Sanchez is after the money. We’re better of with Sanchez in Mourinho’s hands than Guardiola.
Yhey’re offering Sanchez £350,000 which supersedes City’s £336,000 a week offer.Sanchez can reject the move if he wants.

      1. Maks says:

Kev, it s great that you have all this interesting info but are you Arsenal fan or? I mean I dnt mind but it will be nice to know.
I think Alexis Sanchez is here for glory! He wants to play and score goals and win… money is side thing to him, cos Arsenal was offering great money but he wants to go to win something big.

        1. Arnold says:

The biggest problem has been wenger for long time now “project” run Arsenal football club as an academy and try to prove to everyone else he is the one who knows better
and try to bring in kids who have potential but not ready for 1st team resisting spending money to improve squad depth and cling in on average players : Iwobi, welbeck, theo, chambers, holding and player other players on wrong position Monreal and not give opportunity to good footballer Perez and Campell also you have been holding too much power from transfer, players contracts, arsenal finances as a whole and now all that BS start to backfire

    3. Rob says:

Fa is certain!! It only takes a rumour that he’s off to Utd for some fans here to trash the club. Sooo dramatic some of you gooners.

IMO it’s more likely that he’ll go to City and this is simply about winding them up and getting them to up their offer. This is hardly a surprise – everyone knew this was going to happen…and given he’s playing like someone who’s already gone most of the time, it’s hardly a big deal.

Just hope we get someone decent in…

  7. Xxnofx says:

One of the weakest teams I’ve seen is put out in a long time .reminds me of a carling cup match team

    1. Sue says:

      It’s pants…. we’re gonna get thrashed

  8. Malcom in the middle says:

That looks like a team waiting to get thrashed. Thumbs up Wenger

  9. Rkw says:

Very very ordinary team plus less than ordinary manager puts us in to Bournemouth territory … Need wilshere and lacazette to step up as our only two quality players … No idea what to expect … Amazing how expectations have shifted from us to merseyside over last 3 years … Sad and shocking that club has treated fans in this way

  10. Peanut Choc says:

Would swap iwobi for amn. Perfect timing to play him in DM, his suitable position
Curious why kola is not playing?

  11. Maks says:

This team can be our reality until the end of the season. Doesnt look very good to me.
    6th is our new trophy!
I hope Ozil will stay and will buy at least two players who can come into first 11 asap.
I hope today, Iwobi will finally show his true potential and make an assist or even score.
Wenger is very carefull on his precious Ramsey so it is not suprise he s on the bench.
Another hope is that Wilshere is 100% fit.

  12. John says:

Thank Gawd Wenger’s horror can never be forever………but he needs to go at the end of the season……..he has really overstayed…….omg what a horrid story my Arsenal has become……..

    1. Bur says:

He needs to go Now! He has destroyed this club. I wonder what the weegorites think now. “In Wenger we trust” your having a laugh arnt you.

  13. Phil says:

Thank you to all you AKB’s

    1. Break-on-through says:

      You’re welcome.

  14. Rkw says:

Sanchez and Walcott out … Malcom and drexler or lemar in … Would not be too bad a January …. Surely wenger knows if he doesn’t think ambitously his hold on club will be massively weakened …

  15. V.uren says:

    What a mess ….

    ” catalyst for change ” …oh it’s changed alright !

Changed from a club to be proud of , to a money grabbing board and utterly pathetic team, to think how much the fans are charged in comparison to peps city ….

Get every last one of them out , disgrace.

  16. Gelz says:

Is this best we can come up with the only creative player we have left is Wilshire, still hoping for a win and some more creative players before the end of Jan as Iwobi and Welbeck don’t fill me with much hope for the future.

  17. Break-on-through says:

I didn’t realize we were on such a bad run, no win in 5. All the talk of Wilshere being wonderful has sort of printed over our form.

    1. Dee23 says:

Well we didn’t lose the 5 games. Commentators make it sound worse, considering this is our 2nd prem game this calendar year since the other games were cup matches. We drew against Chelsea in our last Premier league game which wasn’t a bad result all things considered.

  18. Bur says:

  19. Kedar Damle says:

Jens Lehman again in stands with Arsene Wenger with Notebook and Pen…
Is he going to be next Arsenal Manager???

    1. Waal2waal says:

…a former goalkeeper as future manager? – not likely (imo)

  20. rkw says:

defence is a nightmare … xhaka is the biggest waste of 35m I remember .. Welbeck is a championship player … Wilshire lacazette iwobi and NM appear to have showed up

  21. Break-on-through says:

Need to pass quicker and CM need to step it up and play better quicker balls forward.

  22. Kedar Damle says:

Rob Holding a 1 Million Player putting performance like 1 Million cost…

  23. rkw says:

get Welbeck off … he is clueless

  24. sfgunner says:

pathetic football btw, worst season in a long time, feels like a relegation battle

    1. Break-on-through says:

It’s one of those poor displays that the same players who faced a big club and played well, then don’t go with nearly the same commitment because they are facing a smaller club. That”s why other teams win the big prize and we don’t, until you are safe in a game, you must speed up tempo and give out no respect ..over choosing when and where. Wilshere Niles and Chambers are the only ones who looked bothered so far, Wilshere is our best chance for us to spring into action.

      1. sfgunner says:

        lookso me like mediocre players

  25. rkw says:

that wenger plays bellerin over debuchey is absurd … bellerin is utterly utterly haplesss

  26. Kedar Damle says:

We should give Debushy a chance because Bellerin feels so secured about his playing and because of it his attitude is too lethargic…

    1. Alkali says:

At least bellerin can run unlike debuchy, i was so embarrassed for him in the forest game.

      1. Kedar Damle says:

He runs like headless chicken which is of no use…

  27. rkw says:

there are players in this team who certainly would get in to the wolves first 11 … which is a shocking indictment of how far we have regressed under wenger

  28. Waal2waal says:

…this team doesn’t fill me with much optimism – they’re under hypnosis to think they’re playing a.c.milan; wake up its only bournemouth ffs

  29. rkw says:

    would not

  30. rkw says:

other than Wilshire no one deserves much credit … iwobi has shown some nice touches but is clueless when it comes to final product .. lacazette still not in a groove… NM started ok but is way too lethargic .. as for the rest they are Bournemouth level or lower … if sanchez and ozil leave we need at least 6 new players to begin to rebuild … wont happen under wenger so WENGER OUT remains the first step to revitaliization

  31. Alkali says:

So no one saw the iwobi penalty? Or are we just going to ignore it.

    1. Jan says:

Saw it…we were lucky ref did not!

  32. AY75 says:

I wouldn’t mind Sanchez leaving…….. coupled with his attitude, he hasn’t been impressive this season in my opinion………. and if wenger could somehow exchange him for Martial, that would be a great deal

    1. Kedar Damle says:

I think we would get money plus Henrikh Mkhitaryan….

    2. Roehahn says:

Are you kidding me ?? You know you are talking about Mourinho..the same guy who wouldnt loan us Demba Ba..frickin Demba Ba..and you think he will give us Martial ???

  33. Jan says:

What a bunch of useless and poor players. We look like a championship team at most.Shooting like pus*ies..headless running around…tacticaly clueless..psychologicaly weak…Afc ladies are playing better atm.
OMG cant believe what is going on…I just cant…
    Wenger u c.un..t!

  34. Jan says:

Alexis is gone and no surprise we didnt get eplacement first….
    You gotta be kidding man!

  35. sfgunner says:

well, the leaque paid us back for the bad handball call, iwobi could easily have been called,

    1. Kedar Damle says:

If VAR would have been there then that would have easily a penalty…

  36. Break-on-through says:

Ramsey’s the only (semi) creative guy we have on the bench. He’d help Lacazette all the same by keeping players occupied and unsettling their offside-line. I’d play Niles CM and put Wilshere and Ramsey behind Lacazette. Don’t know what it would look like, either bring in Kola too ..or else wait because Nkietah could end up being relied on.

  37. rkw says:

    credit to iwobi great ball

  38. Kedar Damle says:

Wenger can’t even get basic motivation to his players… One thing which Sir Alex was known for his man management and motivation…. Sir Alex was not special tactician but he exactly knew when to protect players and when to scold them…. Can you believe that he used to bench Wayne Rooney in his managerial career….

  39. rkw says:

they r dominating … maybe the fossil wants to make a change !!!!!!

  40. Break-on-through says:

    FFS Cech.

  41. rkw says:

ffing unbelievable …. we are just too weak a team … what Czech was doing ii have no idea … but wenges failure to change iis utterly shocking to me

  42. rkw says:

pains me to say … but xhaka off ramsey on

  43. sfgunner says:

    boom 2-1

  44. rkw says:

jesus … its a joke .. I cant believe wenger will survive a loss or a draw … as that is end to top 6 too …

  45. Break-on-through says:

Is this a joke or what.

    1. sfgunner says:

      its a joke

      1. E. Anderson says:

        A. Lacazette needs to do more, much much more than he is doing.
I’m starting to become disappointed in his application… NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

        1. Arnold says:

No he needs to be surrounded with good players otherwise he will struggle
remember fabregas when Hleb left for Barc and Rosicky was injured he end up playing with headless chicken theo walcott and it didnt work out he frustrated and went home to barca himself

  46. rkw says:

we don’t even know how to take throw ins … what the ff do our coaching staff do

  47. Adam Criniti says:

Winless in six in the EPL, about to lose possibly are
2 best players and all is well with the board and our
    $8M a year fraud of a manager.

Meanwhile Liverpool and Man City are on impressive runs and adding quality to there squads

    Honestly when is enough enough?

    1. E. Anderson says:

      Such a shame!

We used to be better… way better.

    2. John Wick says:

Said this yesterday about Wenger got thumbed down heavily for it, problem is the fans are Wenger out when we lose and Wenger we trust when we win very fickle fans but they’re eyes will be open soon enough! This arsenal team are a shambles how anyone can think Wenger isn’t the problem is beyond me!

  48. Nayr says:

    2-1 what a joke.

  49. rkw says:

does Walcott even understand the rules of the game …

  50. Odein says:

We can still win the league

  51. rkw says:

team that simply cant cross a ball … neither bellerin or niles have a clue about this basic skill

  52. Waal2waal says:

…looks like man u have been successful in the gettin the chilean. although im responding to stuff im seeing in the twitter feed; who’d blame him for no longer wanting to line up with this hapless lot – ozil and lacazette deserves better. czech needs to be improved upon and clearly changes have to be made and in terms of being a force we’ve lots and lots of catching-up to do.

  53. M L M Gunner says:

M Nile is being wasted on the left cos he can’t even run in space even when its plenty…. Why did this CANT called A W play Kolosnac

  54. M L M Gunner says:

Only Jack Wilshere is looking like Arsenal matetial. No feeding to laca

  55. V.uren says:

I simply can’t watch us anymore.

This is painful , please stop turning up to the emirates those of you who were foolish enough to buy tickets.

How much more do we have to endure ???
