Confirmed Arsenal team as we play host to rivals Tottenham at the Emirates

Tottenham have made the short trip to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal for this Super Sunday clash, and both starting line-ups have now been announced as we close in on the kick-off time.

The Gunners announced that they had a clean bill of health in the run for the first time this season, with Granit Xhaka having completed his three-match ban also, meaning that we could well see Mikel Artetaโ€™s idea of his best possible line-up today, which could well be a incite into the rest of our campaign.

Spurs are without Steven Bergwijn and Ryan Sessegnon, while Lucas Moura is back in the squad after his latest injury, meaning that both sides should have no excuses come the final whistle.

Do you think Xhaka should have made way for Pepe or another forward? Will this line-up be the base for Arsenal going forward this season? What are your scoreline predictions after seeing the teams?

      1. Fair point Pat though he can be a liability at times (his red cards and errors leading to goals) but he was super today ๐Ÿ‘

Long may that continue and that will boost the whole club!! Super result and we have been waiting on this type of performance

  1. A great result
To my mum who watched her beloved Arsenal for 80 years having grown up 10 minutes from Highbury stadium. You would have loved today.

    1. Hardest of the next 6 away (slightly think their style will play into our hands but we’ll see,) if we win that then we can be quite positive (4 of the next 5 are home against teams we should beat.)

  2. We won guyzzz๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹
    ND we won with style
If not that little foul that distracted d defense, then we would have kept another clean shit

  3. What a day to be an arsenal fan. Today The Whole ARSENAL family is unified. Players, coaches, medical staff, fans, bloggers etc. Oh happy day. I never thought I’d see a day arsenal will beat spurs with a great and disciplined performance.
    I cried watching us today…

  4. Iโ€™m not Xhakaโ€™s greatest fan, heโ€™s very talented but a bit hot headed but he was excellent today. Got to say Tomiyasu is a revelation.

    1. He had a good year last year for us, never mind the euro’s. He suffers with referees because of who he was when he was younger. His fault but unfair.
